The Hair Results

Here it is. This is my daughter's hair after one hot coconut oil treatment. Not much of a difference except the curls are bit more defined even after brushing. I'm thinking she may need another treatment or two to see some real results. I was hoping it'd be less frizzy. Maybe I didn't put enough oil, I don't know, but we're definitely doing this again. I've yet to do the treatment on my own hair so we'll see.
She had the oil on for 12 hours. I figured, since her hair is very thick and curly, the more time the better. It actually looked pretty decent with the oil on - maybe it can be used in place of gel or other hair products. I know there are many uses and I'm just going to experiment and see what works best.
On another note; I'm using the oil as a hand lotion and there's no greasy residue at all. My hands are nice and soft:)

I also have a frizzy curly hair and it is very difficult to manage.
I am putting up some coconut oil only on weekends to become soft and shiny.
frizzy hair would always be difficult to manage

you have to keep the coconut oil for over a day and then wash it off. that is how we do the Indian way

I still don't know what to do with mine... Lol! But my hair is a little soft and manageable during the cold weather just like now, and I love its goldilocks curls. Many people told me to straighten it but nope! I love the way it is.

I'll have to to do that next time, thanks!

I'm not a fan of straightening either. I try to do minimal damage on our hair 😊

Maybe I should give that a try. My hair is thick and frizzy, too. And I love the smell of coconut-scented hair products.
