You Can Be A Hero

As a child I always wished I could be a superhero. I think I even called myself the "Javelin" with a helmet and a big spear like weapon. I liked playing alone with my imagination. As I grew up, I soon learned the difference of fiction and reality. It may be beyond reach to be able to fly or to have x-ray vision, but I never gave up the dream to be able to help others in time of need.
I now realize that as an artist I also have a superpower. It is the ability to affect others with my art. I teach this to my students. I tell them that their ability to make people laugh, cry or think after a powerful performance is like a super power. To be able to share a message of hope, courage, faith and love is an exceptional ability that we should all be proud of.
We all can be a hero to someone else if we choose it. You can go on with your life focusing on yourself or you can live a life of good example and be an inspiration to those around you.

we are already a hero when we gave birth to our children. And,
We will certainly be a hero by taking part in our society by teaching children.
Gladly know that you are also a teacher.
