My morning routine

Every morning, it is my habit to solve the that is published in the while I am drinking the morning tea. I usually sit on my dining table with my newspaper, mug, pencil and a notepad to plan out my day and list.

I subscribe to Dawn, which is one of Pakistan's leading English newspapers and it has a nice mix of comic strips, an easy and a difficult and of course the crossword puzzle which is my favorite. I feel that if you solve crossword puzzles every day, they become easier and easier to solve.

Crossword puzzles in Dawn are not as difficult as I have seen in some UK and US newspapers but nevertheless it feels good to know that I can completely solve the puzzles.

After the puzzle, comes my daily grocery list and things-to-do list. Today I have to go through my two bedside tables (4 drawers) to get rid of all the clutter that accumulates there. My daughter needs shoes (AGAIN) and i need some new mugs and kitchen utensils.

What are your plans for today?

At least you still read news paper. People I know here browse all their news online. I think I'll do the laundry since I was at work yesterday.

I used to do The times of India crossword puzzle in the good old days. I would cut it from the paper and take it with me to work. We had common transport that picked a whole lot of us to work who were in the vicinity. My friend and I would solve it together and by the time we reached office the puzzle would be finished. As for my daily routine. First a cuppa and sit through browing persona. Give instructions to the maid and gardener what needs to be done for the day. I also feed Lolly the stray and keep a watch on Preiti.
When we were dealing in shares the first thing my husband and I did was to check the market.

Christmas is round the corner and that means a lot of jobs around. I am planning a party for poor kids which needs planning.

My days usually start off about the same, with reading and writing. Lately, however, my old cat has been the focus. We're just trying to make whatever time he has left as comfortable as it can be. This past weekend was a very sad one. We thought for sure Saturday morning was going to see the call made for his euthanasia. It's only a matter of time, I know, and I have to make that call when I feel he's truly suffering. Selfish, I know.

Yes, now PP is a close contender for my attention early in the morning :) I would love to hear more about your party for the children. It's a great gesture.

I love to do crossword puzzles! I really do not have a regular routine except that I try to Bubble while I am having my coffee. I can't imagine doing a daily grocery run.
