My Response

This is my response to AngelSharum's post "Our Christmas Decorations" ( Nov.30,2014). I am posting a photo of my window Christmas decorations. Shown in this photo are my three Christmas wreaths which i bought for my Mother. The two small ones i bought while she was confined in a hospital just a few days before Chirstmas. I can still remember how her eyes sparkled when i showed her what i bought for her. The big wreath i bought inspite of its high cost. The price does not matter for as long as it made her happy.

I used to lavishly decorate these exterior windows because she can see them from her bedroom. She enjoyed watching me putting up the lights and the Christmas wreaths while sitting on her bed eating her frruits.

Super typhoon Ruby is slowly approaching my city today... i hope all these window decorations would all still be in place after shes gone.

My mother used to love Christmas decorations as well. Lights lights and more lights. I hope they survive the storm. Be safe.

Perhaps the typhoon will bring more decorations to the windows, though it is unlikely.

its a miracle that super typhoon Ruby weakened, changed its course and spared my city. we just had not very strong winds and rain when Ruby finally hit. "m very relieved and thankful that my window decorations survived.

Yes, I am glad for all of you in Philippines. I have met with so many noisy, lively and funny Filipinas in my work that I feel part of the community.
