It's Just Me

I’m not one to go on about my personal life or my health, but please accept my apologies for not being around. I have been trying to battle this vertigo which is called Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). I am one of the lucky ones (not really) that suffer with it on both the right and left side. My world is still going in circles and I have not been able to do much but check my messages. It’s very uncharacteristic for me not to be online or in my kitchen.

I don’t know what will happen from day to day, which is one of the most frustrating things to be. I have been unable to drive for the past 1.5 weeks and have been laid out doing nothing much at all.

I had an appointment with my Neuro Dr. and he has referred me to physical therapy for a few different techniques to help alleviate the symptoms.

I wanted to let you know that I haven’t forgot about my persona family and I hope to be back up and running soon!!

Thank you for the messages and concern that have been sent out. I am still here but still going in circles.

I'm truly sorry to hear you're yet having these issues with vertigo. I would imagine you are about worn thin with the ongoing symptoms. I hope physical therapy is able to find a method that works for you and soon. : )

I hope the therapy works. I watched a video about it, Doing it is not going to be fun while the vertigo is active, but worth it if it helps. I'm so sorry you have it on both sides. Mine is just on the right. I can't imagine both being affected.

I pray the therapy works and you can conquer this vertigo. Really, before reading about how this affects you, I never knew anybody could suffer with it. So, I learned something. Truly , though, you are in my prayers.

Physiotherapy almost certainly works for any situation and I am sure it will in your case as well. Take care.

I hope the physical therapy helps you. That definitely does not sound like fun.

Perhaps you can write about the condition, and your feelings.

I had vertigo and my Doctor gave me easy exercises to try. They got rid of my dizziness but vertigo will never fully go away. lie on yr bed and put a pillow under yr neck. Then sit up from the pillow. Allow yourself to fall from sitting flat on your back and your head will fall above the pillow. Do this 3 times . Then sit on one side of the bed and repeat three times . Do the other side of yr bed 3 times then sit quietly on the side of your bed if you can. This will align the hairs in your ears that are causing you to be unbalaced and dizzy. Really try this twice a day and in a week it should be a lot better for you. try it it costs nothing and good luck.
