Hurray for &Ruby3881

I think Ruby3881 deserves a standing ovation for not only taking up my A-W but also staying committed to completing it and then finally doing so by end of November. Well done, girl.

All in all, she has written 36 posts - one for each and every category listed on Persona Paper, starting with Animals and ending with Writing , hence the name A-W Category Challenge.

Though I started the , I meandered off here and there and have only done half the categories (red and shamefaced here) while resolutely marched on and has done it in space of one month. I know is also attempting to complete it in spite of having limited online time available so best of luck to him and any other member who has taken up this challenge.

I think it is a great and fun way to build up your portfolio on . If any new member wants to jump in, you are most welcome to do so. Just let us all know and we will cheer you each step of the way.

Good luck!

big CONGRATULATIONS! the challenge is difficult and finishing it would be a great achievement. 'm still doubting my capacity as a writer so i am not fit to take on any challenge yet.

I lost my way although I post relentlessly here and forgot to go by your diktat!
Ruby3881 Congratulaltions. You deserve them. I could see your performance and somehow guessed what you were trying to achieve.

Ah, thank you! That's so sweet that you wrote a post for me emoticon

Congrats to Ruby! I entertained the thought of trying it out, but obviously I failed. I knew I wouldn't be able to commit the time, but I will honestly try the next time the challenge is up. Way to go, Ruby!!

That Ruby3881 is something else, isn't she? I am inspired over and over again here by her efforts and those of so many others.

I think your should receive some kudos, too, for coming up with such a great challenge. : ) The fact that I have made so little progress in it thus far does not diminish my enthusiasm for it.

That's great. And the challenge means you have to take yourself out of your comfort zone for some topics.

A big hand to her. It surely takes some time to complete the challenge.

I think I started off on the wrong foot then gave up.

It really was a huge challenge, and not one I'd normally take on despite years of experience web writing. I hope nobody feels they have to do it. I took it on because I wanted to stretch myself a good bit - and I really did!

It's a big challenge! To anyone who isn't used to really pushing to write on a deadline, I recommend not trying to complete it in under two months.

this sounds so cool, I wish that one time I will be able to take such a great challenge

Ruby3881 wrote on December 1, 2014, 12:22 PM

Thanks so much Grace! I'm sure you've more than covered all the topics here, at least once! you should go back through your posts and tally up all your categories. I'll bet you've made a lot more progress than you think!

A lot of folks seem to think that there was a time limit imposed for this challenge, but there wasn't! I set a goal for myself, because I needed a push and wanted to step up my involvement on Persona Paper. But there's no need to finish this challenge in any specific time frame. Please don't give up on it! There's lots of time left :)

Hats off to you Ruby3881 What a great accomplishment!
With me starting a new venture into homeschooling along with everything else going on I can not tackle such a huge challenge in such a short time. I can, however, try what Ruby3881 suggests in her most recent post which is to pace myself. If you don't mind Dawnwriter I would like to except your A_W Category Challenge doing one category a week.

If there was a place where I could check I would certainly do it but going through every post is a herculean task. May be I could depend on my memory. Let me see.

yeah she is so awesome I read it earlier as she post about it. She is really focus on her jobs and goals. I hope I can be more focus just like her.

A great accomplishment indeed for Ruby3881 and a great writing challenge from you! I began the prompt yesterday and plan to write my way through to the end. I felt it a good way for a new member to jump right in.

Lettie, you could even decide to do something like 2-3 categories a month, and stretch it out over a year or more emoticon

I think it's a fabulous way to get a start here at PP! It really helped me to build my content library here emoticon

That's really sweet of you! Thanks for the kind words emoticon

Well done for completing, I might give this a go I am going to have a look at the categories and have a little think.
