Bringing In The Holidays On A Frosty Note
During this upcoming Holiday season I was already fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of Frosty the Snowman barreling his way across my neighborhood. Leaving nothing but a few icy, mammoth foot prints in the snow.
I had to rub my eyes a couple of times to make sure that what I was seeing was actually real and not some nine foot replica of what most consider an iconic symbol next to ole Saint Nick.
But after blinking my eyes a couple of more times I concluded - Yep it's definitely not the ghost of Christmas past or the pillsbury dough boy. But actually Frosty himself - larger then life. I wanted to run out of the house and grab an autograph, but unfortunately had my PJ's on and didn't want the neighbors to think that maybe I'm just a bit too excited about the Christmas season. Heck it's child play and kids stuff right?
Maybe not everyone has lost the Christmas spirit. But is the festive holiday season just as pleasant and joyous for every one around the world? I tend to think not because everyone's situation is different and we have to keep that in mind as we begin to bring in the Holidays with family and friends.
And yes - hopefully with old Frosty himself! So are you and your family just as excited about the upcoming Holiday season as I am. Or are your circumstances different in comparison to the previous year or two?
Hopefully this is not the case and realize that not everyone can be as jolly as Frosty during this time of the year. And hopefully everyone is not a real Scrooge at heart. So to all those that have lost the traditional Christmas spirit, and think that you may be on Santa's naughty list.
I sincerely hope you find that spirit once again. So let me end now by wishing all of my readers a Happy and Healthy Holiday season filled with trinkets and toys for all. And say a silent prayer to yourselves - hoping that you don't get stuck in traffic on your way home from the mall this season!
