Follow-up on the Pop-up Ads

Ok it seems to have come back, I screen shot the first pop up. I thought I was the only one experiencing it but it seems like there are some others.
Maybe elitecodex and MaeLou can check it out. I does get irritating when you want to check other posts and it pops up first. When you are navigating it goes with you.
I hope it is just a glitch and will soon get fixed. I thought it was gone when I made the first post because there was none when I opened another tab.
Then I was gone for a while and just came back to check all my sites for updates . That is when I saw the pop up ads again.
So I will wait till tomorrow again and see what happens.
Good night for now and be back tomorrow or later.

I am experiencing them too and they are very irritating. I hope this is not a permanent feature here.

I've noticed a significant uptick in anti-virus warnings on a number of writing sites. I suspect there is an issue with specific ad networks, that are probably used across a number of platforms.

I can't say I've ever seen that particular advert. Must just be lucky! :)

I am experiencing those pop-up ads also. At first I thought I had a virus in my computer, until I realized it's only happening when I'm browsing articles in PersonaPaper. The problem is that there was some ads that do this and we need to report them when we catch them so that management can remove those ads. They are not user-friendly and will hurt the success of the site, but it's up to us to bring it to their attention.
