We often forget to stop and count our blessings and what we are grateful to have in our life. As a rule for a while now, I try to find something positive that has affected me each night before going to bed.
Yesterday I read a post on Facebook from an acquaintance that I made over the summer and she wrote what she was grateful for in her life and it sparked me to do the same.
I am grateful for waking up and having my wonderful husband here with me to start my day and to have his undying love.
I am grateful for my children who given me the honor of being their mother, who have loved me unconditionally and have blessed me with my grandchildren.
I am grateful for my 7 grandchildren who keep me on my toes, young at heart, and give out nothing but good ole’ pure love. They will be warming my heart and soul forever and a day.
I am grateful that I was able to have my brother and my mother in my life the years that I was allowed to have them with me. I am so grateful for their spirits that surround me and for their protection. I love you and miss you more each day. My heart yearns for the time I will get to see each of you once again.
I am grateful for our home and to be able to call it home.
I am grateful for all of my family – I love you. A special thank you goes out to my mother in law Louise, for standing in and giving me the love when my mother was not able.
I am grateful for all of my friends near and far – close and not so close – whether we see each other daily, weekly, once per year or have never met face to face – I am grateful to have you in my life. I have learned from each of you and will always hold you in my heart. I am grateful you have changed my life.
I am grateful for life, love and the happiness that has been given to me and the beauty of each day.
I am grateful for the change that has happen in me and in my life.
