In response to Kasman question. So what's your choice for the best invention of all time and what invention would you like to see

In my personal opinion, the best invention ever would have to be the rocket. You may ask why the rocket, it doesn't really do anything but fly. However it is because of the rocket that man began to believe their dreams of reaching space may some day come true. Which, as we all know, did eventually happen. We managed to not only leave the atmosphere but also land on the moon. Now we have small robots landing on comets so who knows what will be next. Eventually, in the distant future we may even get to enjoy a life that is currently portrayed in shows like Star Trek. That is if we don't destroy ourselves first.

As to the question of what I would like to see invented. This may sound silly but I would love to see electronics such as televisions, radios and computers that have a fail safe lie detector. That way when ever we hear political propaganda we know if it is all bull or if the candidates actually believe in the platforms that they are running on. It will also give the citizens the ability to tell if news casters are purposely trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

I think central air conditioning is the best invention ever. I grew up in a desert, and I now live in the southeast portion of the U.S., where it gets very hot and humid outside during the summer. Central air conditioning keeps me from dying under the weight of my own perspiration, lol.
