Introduction for Aunna

Hello, my name is Francisca Carr. Most of my family members call me Aunna. It is a nick name given to me by one of my nieces, whom I raised from birth. Somehow or another it stuck to the point that when my actual name is called it doesn’t register that someone is trying to gain my attention. For the past 23 years I have dedicated my life to raising my family. When I first got married my husband and I discussed the possibility of having a family and what we really expected from each other. We both agreed, since he was an active duty military man who could be called away at any given moment that I would stay at home with the children. Thereby ensuring that at least one parent was always at hand for any situation. Now that my children are grown I am taking the time to reconnect with what I have always loved, writing. Currently most of my work consists of poetry but I am expanding into short stories. Writing allows for me to express my deepest fears, dreams and desires without the drama of a public emotional outburst. Aside from writing, my hobbies consist of reading voraciously. I love Romance, Historical, Science Fiction and the occasional Mystery so long as it is not too gory. When I feel the need to let off some anger or stress I have the tendency to bake. Now when I say bake, I do not mean that I go into the pantry and pull out a box of already prepared cake or brownie mix and or into the freezer for prepackaged cookie dough to toss into the oven. Baking for me must be done from scratch. I will pull out an old school cookbook and find something that looks interesting and then experiment by changing a few items. Whenever I feel the need to just empty my mind I love to sit in front of a fire and crochet by candle light. Though I do not consider it an actual hobby, I have been known to sew Halloween costumes by hand as well as craft center pieces for weddings. As I mentioned earlier, I love to bake. Therefore, it is only natural for my favorit

I have a lot of respect for stay at home moms and homeschooling. You might want to look into Kindle Direct, where you can write ebooks. Welcome.
