Papaya Soap
For almost five years now i have been using papaya soap for my face. I love how it makes my facial skin feel smoother and fresher. When i was younger i just used ordinary bathing soap but now that i am older i prefer use a deep cleansing soap like papaya soap to protect my facial skin from blemishes.
Papaya soap is so mild. It does not contain any harsh ingredient and perfume that could be irritating and damaging to older skin like mine. I have tried many other skin care products but they did more damage than good. I tried liquid facial cleansers, maxi peels, etc. but they only burned my skin and left ugly marks. I'll never use synthetic facial cleansers again. I'll stick to using only all natural papaya soap.

I used to sell the fire soap and my friends and classmates when I was in college. Papaya is a really effective whitening ingredient.

I don't think I have ever heard of that soap before. Papaya is an exotic fruit over here, never heard of it being used for cleansing before.

Where did you get the papaya soap from?
carmela wrote on November 19, 2014, 4:49 AM
papaya soap is available and can be bought in all grocery stores here in my country. some Filipinos manufacture and sell their own brand of papaya soap. the papaya soap i photographed for this article is Olay papaya soap which i bought from the grocery.

I've never heard of papaya soap. I bet it smells good.
carmela wrote on November 20, 2014, 4:05 AM
yes it does smell good. the scent is very mild and very refreshing. after washing it does not leave on any strong scent on the facial skin or if used for bathing ... it does not leave on a strong synthetic scent on the skin.

yes it is really very effective in keeping our skin free from blemishes and wrinkles. what's also nice about it is that its recommended by friends and does not rely solely on advertisements.

I wonder if you have tried making soap at home. You will have to be careful with lye.

my brother in law has brown skin but his bath is not complete without papaya soap. he feels cleaner and more refreshed if he is using papaya soap for bathing though like you he does not intend to have fair skin.

I also started with papaya soap when I was in high school up until college. Unfortunately, my hormones acted strange since I gave birth so papaya soap didn't work on me any more; thus, I am now an avid user of carrot soap. But I would agree that papaya soap indeed works as it worked on mine before.
