Cocklebur
I found this cool looking cocklebur while going to the mailbox yesterday. I could tell by looking at it that it would be nice to photograph. I was mainly wanting to use my macro lens, but I ended up liking it a little further away as well.
I like the reflection of the first photo. I took the shots on my stove top, which is ceramic black. I've come to find it is a nice background for photographs.
This next one I did use the macro lens for. I love how it turned out. My husband said it looks like an alien whoha...lol. Yes, he is weird. It does look alien in a way though.
I'm not sure how many of you will like these shots, but I think they are interesting. Hope y'all have a nice night.

I really enjoy taking a closer look at some things we usually glance at or ignore all together. I think these two photos are interesting.

Yeah, I love doing macro shots of things. You never know what they might look like when you get up close and personal.

Have you used the stove top for any flower photos? A red rose reflection would be awesome!

No, I haven't found any flowers to put n there yet. I've done it with leaves though, which was cool.

Never seen anything like this before. Is it common in your area?
AngelSharum wrote on November 13, 2014, 4:35 PM
Yep, this time of year especially. They are falling off trees everywhere.

I love noticing little things like this, too.

There are so many interesting things out there if we just pay attention.
