Can We Get Some Help Over Here!!!
Hi everyone!
This wasn't exactly the way I'd intended to come back around but I've been sneakin' over here and there and had hoped to write something before week's end.
THAT SAID - this isn't it.
WE NEED SOME HELP OVER HERE!
tinamarie is having trouble and cannot post anything. When she attempts to, she gets pushed back to the "new post" screen again. This is happening at the Captcha part. So, to be clear (because I am struggling with that this week)...
When she goes to submit, to enter the Captcha, it deletes her post and takes her back to the "new post" screen.
She has tried to contact PP support but oddly enough, the same thing (or similar) is happening. She is getting booted out.
This started happening yesterday afternoon, I was not of the mind to handle it then, thought it might be a temporary thing, and hoped she was in by the time I got back to her. I did check to see if anyone else was posting and they were; so it is NOT SITE WIDE. Poor Tina - she just wants to feed folks a little.
So, I'm here to see if I can post, firstly. And secondly to share word with elitecodex that tinamarie is having some issues. Still today. I did just now tell her to clear cookies, etc. because I didn't know if you'd done any back end stuff, Will...
Okay, that's it. For now.
And for crimany's sake. Tsu? Really? Now I have to go find pablina 's referral that she sent me two weeks ago. Gosh darn it. Let me know who everyone is over there. I already know LoudMan 's.
Oh, one more thing. Yes, I suppose I could have tried to email support myself. But this is quicker and I really did want to say HI to everyone. It's been way too long and I've got so much to say. Later. I promise. Let's get tinamarie fixed first!

Hope the is gets sorted out soon. This glitch must be affecting many because thee are only 60 or so new articles being posted here daily. My TSU id is iwrite28

Hey there, lady! Tsk, tsk, you know you need to holler for elitecodex on this type of issue. That's okay, I've got it covered now.
You can find a bunch of us on Tsu using the hashtag Writer or look by user names. Some of us are also using the hashtag PersonaPaper.

I think Tina is out and about right now, so hopefully we can get this straight before she gets back :) I don't know when I'll get to Tsu but I'll look for y'all - right now I'm having one of those off weeks again. In fact, in tomorrow's vid I opened up about my condition...more later

Oops, my bad -- skipped right over elitecodex in the post.
I'll be sure to check out that video tomorrow. I'm so sorry that these symptoms keep going for you. I literally cannot imagine how I would cope.

RE: the vid. Once you know what I have, you'll probably better understand some of it. I've been holding out. It doesn't explain the headaches but now that I've opened up about the condition part, I can start talking more about that. It's funny, I kept saying I was going to start talking about it - well, I hadn't planned to do it this way, it just happened. Much like the rest of life... ;) As for coping? Right now, I don't think I'm doing that too well, to be honest. I get through each day and I have a brave face on but...well...more about that, too, later. You know I don't like to be sad sack...

Don't worry, I got an email from her this morning and I am looking into it. I am not sure what is going on yet but I'll research it and work it out with her to figure it out.
Thanks for the post, sometimes if technical glitches prevent the contact form from working, this is a great backup to get our attention :)

That's what I figured (re: the attention getting ;) ) She emailed me earlier this morning but I didn't get it until gone 11. GLAD you are on it, as usual (glad also that nothing has changed here in that regard). Hope it's fixed soon :) Thanks, Will :)

Save as a draft, then edit then submit. No captcha.

Yes, it's surprising that you don't get a capcha if you just save and when you submit you don't get one then, either

That was going to be my suggestion but as usual Scorpie is on top of that.
Hope tinamarie is able to see these notes. I would do a few things also, like Sign out and back in. Clear Browser's cache. Try another browser (From Chrome to Firefox or viceversa), to see if any of those work, or at least better define the issue and help elitecodex with the troubleshooting process.

Yeah regretfully that is a bug we noticed a while ago but is a low priority to fix for now... until it starts to become abused :) We'll get around to it eventually LOL.
No, I think her problem is unrelated to issues of that nature. I think I may have found the issue and asked her to confirm which she said she will do tonight.

I'm back and was able to post tonight. I did clear out the cache, etc. but was still unable to post. I think it's the weather in Maine... way to cold!! LOL... elitecodex was on top of things quick! It took me another day to be able to sit the computer.

I hope this issue was resolved already. I am not really familiar with the error and I haven't encounter it yet. But I encounter some, all I do is to always save a backup of my post before submitting it so whenever problems like this arise my post was save.

If she is typing her post on the submit page, she needs to refresh the CAPCHA first. Or, tell her to copy and paste her post to the site, and see if that works.
