My Tablet Has Kicked The Bucket

I saved up for a few months over the winter and purchased a Google Nexus 7 last spring. I loved using my tablet for several reasons, from the games and camera to the Tweetcaster app and surfing around Bubblews.

Well, my tablet has kicked the bucket. Waaaah. :(

I only had the darn thing for about seven months, yet it kicked the bucket over the weekend. It is something with the port, which means it will no longer charge. It's a good thing I have not had it for over a year because the warranty may still cover it. My older sister helped me to register it and take the necessary steps via Walmart's official website (which is where I purchased the tablet).

Now we have to call tomorrow and wait for the next move, which is hopefully sending it off for repairs.

My photos were automatically backed up via my Google account, and any other photos were downloaded so I can always go back and re-download those. I am going to have to re-install all my apps, including Snoopy's Sugar Drop game, which means I am now going to have to start over from level one. I was on level 50 or 60 something, so that does not make me a happy camper. :( But there's nothing I can do about it.

We may have gotten the old Kindle Fire (which also wouldn't charge, but it was too late to send it off by that time) to charge, but I am only using it when need be. Which means no more laying in bed on social networking websites, or Instagram, for about a week or so. I have been working on fixing my sleeping habits anyway lol.

So here is to hoping my warranty covers the damage, and it can be fixed and sent back as soon as possible.

Tammy here you need to give the url for your pictures. I hope your tablet is covered under the warranty, it should definitely not have broken already. I have had my Samsung tablet for about 2 years, but then again I don't use it much.

I edited it, did I do it correctly? The image credit I mean. Thanks for letting know. It better be covered, it's supposed to be until April 2015. I may even see how to extend it and how much it would cost.

Too bad about the tablet Tammy. At least, you are covered by the warranty. Hope you get a new one soon and good luck on getting a regular sleep pattern.

Oh wow. That stinks. My original kindle fire made it over two years before it stopped working. I would hate having a tablet stop working after just a few months. Hope they can fix it or replace it for you

Oh good. I want to make sure I do not break any rules on here.

Thanks. I think we're calling it in tonight, or I hope we are. It's only covered until April so I have time, but I want my tablet back asap.

Thanks. I hope so because I really like(d) my tablet.

Thanks! If it's the charging port, it's possibly my fault, I could unintentionally done something while plugging it in or unplugging in.

Nah, when it comes to the kindle fire the charging port becoming all unstable is a common problem. I bet it is the same for the nexus

ViperGirl85 wrote on November 6, 2014, 5:00 PM

I would hope not, because I like my Nexus.

Look up customer reviews to see if they've got the same problems as you

I may, but either way I just want it repaired while it is still under warranty.
