Warning: I'm a WWE Fan

Since I am rather new to Persona Paper, I know a bunch of you are just getting to know me. So the next few posts will pretty much be you all getting to know me. I hope to get to know you all as well! As I said in my introduction post, my username on here was inspired by the Viper Randy Orton. :D

So anywho, I am a huge fan of the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). I have been a fan since I was little, but I only watched it off and on until I was 11, when I started watching it full time.

Wrestling is not everyone’s cup of tea, and that is alright because I am not asking those who dislike it to watch it. It certainly my cup of tea because it has brought me so many amazing experience and wonderful friends, both near and far. I attended my first Wrestlemania (29) last year and the Royal Rumble back in January. I am currently saving up to attend WWE Payback here in Baltimore in May of 2015, and I will be attending my first SummerSlam in 2015, as it is moving from the West Coast to the East Coast for the first time in six or seven years. I try to go to the shows when they are in town. I haven't missed a show here in years, especially since I started working from home and was able to pitch in for tickets. :) I have been able to meet some of my favorite wrestlers and more, and I am forever grateful for it. On top of all that, I have met some of the best friends I could ask for and it is something several of my family members and I enjoy watching together. :)

My favorite WWE Superstar is Shawn Michaels, even though he is retired. He has been my favorite since 1996, and he is the reason why I started watching it full time. My other favorites include Randy Orton, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase Jr. (even though he left to try other things), the Undertaker, Lita, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bret “Hitman” Hart and many others. Clearly I like a mixture of Superstars (and Divas) from the past and present.

I am always open to discussing the WWE here on Persona Paper, as well as other writing/social websites I am on. I can respect the fact that others like/dislike different wrestlers, so long as it is done for me in return. :)

And well, that is a little -or more like a big- fact about me lol. You all take care! :)

Edit: I removed the photo of myself at Wrestlemania 29 to prevent breaking any rules, or copyright issues. Sorry. Thank you.

OMG I am so jealous, I am in the UK so don't have the option of going to pay per views, though I have been to raw and a house show that could have been better. I am currently trying to decide if I want to get last min tickets for next week or not, probably not to be honest last year put me off so I think I will just do raw in april, exams permitting because I am in my final year of uni. So nice to see a fellow HBK fan here, I don't think there are many WWE fans here yet, but they will come eventually.

melody23 wrote on November 2, 2014, 5:17 PM

Lol Tammy I just realised this is you, you already know how jealous I am of your WWE shows!

ViperGirl85 wrote on November 2, 2014, 5:31 PM

Haha hey you! I recognized your name right away, especially after doing a few WWE searches on here. emoticon
I know it would have been easier to use Tammy85 but I came up with ViperGirl85 the other night and had no place to use it. So when I joined here, I thought, "LET'S DO IT." XD I can warn you now, Randy may not be on the tour as he is going to start filming "The Condemned 2" on 11/11, but others may be there. I say if you have the money, just go! You know you'll have fun. emoticon
My next events are not until next spring/summer. I'm doing WWE Payback in May here in Baltimore, and SummerSlam 2015 in NJ/NY. Unless there is going to be another show before Payback, but they better announce it and not spring it on us last minute, with two weeks to save up. *Smh* Otherwise, I may go meet Kevin Nash at MCW, but I do not have any actual WWE events planned until May/August.

melody23 wrote on November 2, 2014, 5:52 PM

He is not on the tour. I honestly didn't enjoy the house show as much as I thought I would in april, so I am thinking I might save the cash for Raw next year instead. Cant make raw this year because of uni so I might just save and make a weekend out of it, in London. I am still undecided to be honest.

ViperGirl85 wrote on November 2, 2014, 6:04 PM

A weekend of it may be fun, and maybe you'll even meet a few! Have you checked to see if there are at least any signings you can attend?

melody23 wrote on November 2, 2014, 6:11 PM

The signings are always rubbish here, its always z listers who you have never heard of because all the decent stars are down south for Raw and Smackdown. In april there was a total of one signing in Scotland in a toy shop in the city, I had no inclination to go stand in a line with a bunch of five year olds to meet whoever it was. When I went to raw years ago I met Bobby Lashley on the street though which was kinda cool. He was with that vampire guy off ECW and whoever the woman he hung around with was and the two of them were sort of looking at us like they were surprised we had no clue who they were. Lashley is huge in person, like really huge!

ViperGirl85 wrote on November 2, 2014, 6:14 PM

I would still look out anyways, one of my Twitter friends met Wade Barrett and I think Paige at one signing. I've seen Lashley in person, never met him, but I can only imagine how huge he is when you're right next to him!

Ruby3881 wrote on November 2, 2014, 6:17 PM

I am definitely not a pro wrestling fan, so you'll likely notice that I tend to skip over those posts. Please don't take it personally!

melody23 wrote on November 2, 2014, 6:20 PM

Well I am five feet four so you can imagine how tiny I felt next to him! Just checked and there are no UK singings announced, that's quite normal though its as if they don't bother to set anything up till they are actually here then they just send whoever is sitting about doing nothing. There are still plenty of tickets left for the tour, only one date is sold out neither raw or smackdown are. When I went to raw it sold out in 45mins so it just shows you how downhill its going, its far too much money for a ticket and that's without travelling etc. The minimum price tickets are just short of £35 each, plus booking fees etc and believe me when I say the seats are rubbish because that's where I was in april, you can see great but you can hear nothing.

ViperGirl85 wrote on November 2, 2014, 6:32 PM

Oh I wouldn't take it personally! It's not everyone's thing lol. On Bubblews, some people comment all of them to tell me they don't watch wrestling and it's like "Okay lol?" - like what kind of response are they looking for haha. XD I'll be writing plenty of non-wrestling posts, so it's all good. :)

ViperGirl85 wrote on November 2, 2014, 6:34 PM

Ugh, I'm really sorry. :( They need to organize it better. Baltimore almost never gets signings for Raw, Smackdown or houseshows. We used to for PPVs but we'll find out in May if that tradition continues. My last few signings -excluding 'Mania- have all been with either MCW or when Shawn was at Oxford Valley Mall. I hope you are able to get great seats! Save some of your money from here and Bubblews, that's what I do. I'd love to hear how you got amazing seats!

I'm 5'2" so a good chunk of the boys are bigger than I am. Jeff Hardy is taller than I thought, and Randy is a good 6'4" so you can only imagine how much taller he is than me.

melody23 wrote on November 2, 2014, 6:48 PM

My ex-boyfriend is 6'4", it was quite the height difference! That's what I plan to do, save up and get decent tickets for Raw then make a weekend of it. Provided they are at the 02 arena again as they have been for the last few years there are some decent cheap hotels close by and its pretty much in the heart of London. I will either go in April but that depends on the exact date because it might be during the exam period, or I will go in November as a sort of celebration for finishing uni, but that depends on the date too because all being well I graduate in November but it might not be London in november. Or I could just win the lotto and go to a PPV in the states lol.

ViperGirl85 wrote on November 2, 2014, 7:41 PM

My best friend saw the pic of us from years and said "You're short." LOL, well of course I'm short, but Randy's a tall one! I would totally start planning it out asap! And it'd be neat if you could come to the US for a show.

melody23 wrote on November 2, 2014, 8:28 PM

I would need to win the lottery or come into a massive inheritance to come to the states for a show. Its over a thousand pounds for wrestlemania travel packages and that doesnt include flights from the UK. I would totally do it though if I had the money

Big WWE fan here as well. Glad to see another fan here in the site. Hoping to read more WWE related posts from you ViperGirl85 !

ViperGirl85 wrote on November 2, 2014, 10:35 PM

Thanks! :D Are you on Bubblews? There's a good chance we may follow each other over there if you are. I like finding other fans to chat with!

allen0187 wrote on November 2, 2014, 11:06 PM

Yes, I have the same user name in bubble ooze. I don't write there anymore but I do read the posts of my connections. What's your handle name over there?

Wrote a couple of WWE related posts here in PP.

ViperGirl85 wrote on November 2, 2014, 11:34 PM

My name over there is Tammy85. I know you did, I did a search for WWE on here and followed several fans lol. XD

ViperGirl85 wrote on November 4, 2014, 5:26 PM

I'm sorry. Maybe start saving up here and there and try to make it in 2-3 years? I know it seems far away, but it's helpful. I did 'Mania 29, skipped 30 and skipping 31, hoping to do 32. It takes a lot to save and I live in the same country. I don't do the travel packages, by the way. I booked myself.

allen0187 wrote on November 7, 2014, 5:35 PM

I don't frequent the other site anymore but I will still add you. Wrestling is one of the topics I write about but can't seem to get the right audience.

ViperGirl85 wrote on November 9, 2014, 9:51 PM

I have several WWE/wrestling fans on the other website, but I am still rather new over here.
