Inefficient Referral System of PersonaPaper
It is good that PersonaPaper offers 25 coins for referring one member. But the way it is designed makes it less efficient. What actually happens when someone clicks on our referral link is that they are taken directly to the sign-up page. Now, if the person chooses to learn about the site before joining, and goes away from the sign up page, I guess the system doesn't recognize it. Same is the case when someone chooses to join later.
I referred a friend a few days back through my referral link. I don't know if she joined right then or later, but the referral wasn't credited to me. Now I'm sure that I had shared my referral link. This means that if one doesn't join right away (without navigating away from the sign up page) that referral will not be credited to the referring member.
This is something strange. Wish the referral click gets logged and when that member signs up, the actual person who had referred him/her must be credited.

If I remember rightly the referral credits are done manually so they are not instant. It might well show up after a bit of time.

If your friend lets them know that they signed up as your referral, they will credit you for it.

I wonder when she gets back the second time she once again goes through your referral link and then joins, may be you will get the credit. Just a thought.
