Twofer Writing Challenge

There's a really awesome writing challenge that I came upon at Bubblews and I thought it would be fun to bring it over here to spur on some content production. It's a sort of on-demand writing challenge, whereupon those who want to participate stand forth and accept topics from other members. Whatever the topic suggested – from the silly to the sublime – the challenged must write a post about it.
But there's an interesting catch: the challenger must also write a post on the very same topic! And she must also stand forth to receive challenges from other writers.
I'm hoping this will get Persona Paper really rocking, now that we've got quite a few members who are looking for something to read and something to write. I'm calling it the Twofer Challenge because each suggestion results in two posts. But really it's much more than “two for one.” In fact, I'm hoping it will snowball into something really big,
Are you up to the challenge? If so, please suggest a topic for me below. When you do, you must also write on that topic, and please tag your post with the TwoferChallenge tag, so we can all find one another's posts.
There you go! Have at it! Challenge away!

Sounds like this could be fun! I am also doing the A-W Challenge with Dawnwriter and why not combine them. If you have not done the Art category then I challenge you to Art! This way I have killed two birds with one stone and will be able to also post a recipe, so I can get in 2 postings today.

Sounds like fun. First challenge - pizza
Why? I see a dominos pizza ad on the page and figured it was a good topic.

Hmmm, this sounds interesting and like a bit of fun, too. Let me put on my thinking cap and I'll soon join in the fun!

Give me a few days to get past my looming work deadline and I may be up for this...

I think I'll sit this one out. So, please, nobody tag me on this. I have too many other irons in the fire right now.

Challenge accepted! I have posted my Art post and tagged you in it. Love the idea of double dipping on this :)
Ruby3881 wrote on November 1, 2014, 2:44 AM
So it's pizza in general, and not Domino's specifically? I think I can do that one!
Ruby3881 wrote on November 1, 2014, 2:45 AM
I can't wait to see what you come up with, Deb :)
Ruby3881 wrote on November 1, 2014, 2:46 AM
Sounds good to me! I hope you get everything done without any hassles :)

This isn't the kind of challenge where people get "voluntold," Barb! Only those who challenge me with a topic need participate, and there's no tagging random folks involved here.
If you happen to have a post that you're going to publish it anyway, though, you're welcome to use it as your have of the two-for-one deal, and then ask me to write on the same topic. We'll exempt you from having to stand forth for any other challenges. Instead we could just ask anyone who wants to join you, to write on your topic
Not saying you need to join in, just not wanting you to feel left out because you're busy. And I think we can easily afford to be flexible :)
BarbRad wrote on November 1, 2014, 3:05 PM
Thanks for the flexibility Ruby.

How about something related to those coffee beans in your photo? I know they're not yours, but it'd be interesting to hear what you have to say about roasted coffee beans and their use.

I figure there's no reason to be rigid about it, right? The point of these challenges is to have fun and create content, after all :)
Ruby3881 wrote on November 2, 2014, 5:13 AM
Oh, coffee is one of my favourite beverages! I'll see what I can do for you....
chatombreux wrote on November 16, 2014, 10:29 PM
Here's one for you - the change in seasons and how that affects you - in whatever way that might be. I missed this one on the B. Will have to look for it there, too.
Ruby3881 wrote on November 17, 2014, 1:06 AM
I have some serious catching up for that one, over on B! So are we talking about the turning of the seasons, or climate change?
Ruby3881 wrote on November 17, 2014, 1:07 AM
BTW, I haven't forgotten about the coffee one! Still pondering on what category it's going to go in.... :P
chatombreux wrote on November 17, 2014, 7:49 AM
I was thinking more about current seasons. Like some have already had snow. Others still have fall leaves. Some are colder than normal. Some like it, some hate it. Nothing political. Yet, if you were to bring climate change into it because the change shows its effects, that's up to you. No rush. It took me almost a month to get to the FB Thankfulness Challenge. I don't remember the coffee one - maybe it was another Wendy?

Seasons post written! I tagged you in it. The coffee one is definitely you. Look for your comment, just above :)

Well, duh! You're right. My senior moment has stuck!! LOL

Can't believe I gave you two challenges and forgot to do the one myself!! Good grief, Charlie Brown!! Guess that will be my topic for the day when I get back from delivering my offspring to her employer.
