Too much to do!

Laid up for a couple of days

I had a bad cold on Monday and Tuesday and didn't feel like doing ANYTHING, so stayed home (didn't go to university) and my husband looked after me. emoticon  By Wednesday the head cold symptoms were gone and I could feel the infection moving down into my chest, which is whyI am now up at 4 in the morning (Ughh) on the computer because the coughing woke me. I am not really sick now, just a cough which catches me sometimes and I will go back to bed soon and hopefully get back to sleep.

So much to do

I have so many projects on at the moment, it's hard trying to fit everything in. Classic over extender!

Lost an Article!

I lost another article on here. I had one written on a film I had watched while sick, and, of course, when the capcha didn't work and I went "back", the "back" skipped to the front page and there was NOTHING LEFT. I couldn't even use restore cache. You would think I had learned my lesson the last time. So now what I will do (because I prefer writing on the PP page) is to just to Control +A (to select all the text) and then Control +C (to copy it) and Control + V (to paste it into a notepad file before I submit. If the submission goes through I can just delete the file without saving. And if it doesn't, well, I have all the text still in my clipboard and in an unsaved file. I was too tired with being sick to write that post again but I must have another go at it, as it was a very interesting documentary on the toughest prison in Russia.

Current Work

Going through my "recent" list to see what I have missed. There are so many new people and articles, it's hard keeping up with them

creating and extending the new blog on costumes for my local area, to earn some money for them. (I might post a link (not affiliate - at least not the initial link) when it's done, for some feedback (please)

get back into my uni work

More babysitting.

Housework, if I have time emoticon

I love how you format your posts. I am going to play around with formatting because yours are so eye catching and, of course, interesting to read. I have had a cold for days on end and it seems to go away then pop back up. I'm definitely not doing all I should.

Thank you. If you mean the side headings - those are just H2. That means you select the text and then click on the H2 button on the dashboard where you might be creating your article. H2 not only makes the text bold, it is also useful for (a) searches done through Google and (b) it helps with site indexing, as it helps Google to decide what the page is about.

Those who have so much to do are truly blessed. The thing about not getting the 'restore cache' is news to me. I have never had a problem with it. Have you written to 'contact' about it?

I hope you're soon back up to snuff so you don't get any further behind. It's hard enough to keep up when everything is going well, but playing "catch-up" is no fun. Get well soon, please.

I don't know whether I was too sick and maybe double clicked the back button instead of single click, so I can't blame the site.

Thanks. I love it. I always have written raw text and have not really gotten into formatting much although I enjoy playing around with different styles. I will use H2 next time because it's very readable and sets up the post so nicely.

wish you for a complete recovery. related to your lost post, yes you should always keep doing Ctrl + A, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. I normally do it whenever I create something at wherever.

Hopefully, you get better soon. It is hard to be sick with so much work that needs to be done.

About losing a post, I always copy and paste my post in a word document before submitting it. It save me the heart ache of losing an article.

Aww, good grief, to be sick and have all that other stuff. Just do what you can do. I keep forgetting to Copy before I submit, too, although fortunately it only ate my stuff once. Apparently I wasn't traumatized sufficiently, lol. Get better soon!

I'm sorry you lost your post. That must have been very frustrating when you are already feeling rotten. I always write mine offline and paste in.

You must learn to write in Word document, save it in your hard disk before you copy on the template in PP.
