Sharing Is Caring; PersonaPaper Is Only Just Beginning

I think I've determined a way we can all try one more activity to help make grow even more profitable, as much as each others' accounts as well.

It's not a traffic exchange but, I believe it will help make one another a lot of profit. Rather than doing a quid-pro-quo between each of us, we do it quid-pro-quo in helping (i)one another(/i) get more readers, followers and page-view/activity.

Isn't this what we all want? Follow along with me on this simple plan to bring on the magic and the value to potential sponsors.

First, visit any page of any Personae you like. I recommend two of them. (And, if each person who does this brings in two more, we're never looking back – fast .)

In their comments, tag them with anywhere from 1 to 10 other Personae, so we each begin discovering one another. I don't believe the coding will allow us a larger number than ten, I think. But, ten other you think might them.

Instruct the recipient of your handful of introductions to do the same, for someone else – other than the individual who who did it for you – to encourage each other along in finding followers and personae to follow.

Not only will a lot of activity begin generating for each other Personae, eventually, the same gesture of support will very likely come back around to each of us too! If you don't mind, please link back to this post too, in your announcement post of your participation, if any, and let's use the “ # “ tag of so there's a quick archive of those involved.

Use the same tag in the comments you tag friends in, too.

If you only tag one other, you're helping a Personae-member and when you tag at least two or three others in one comment, this activity will grow exponentially, in general, onsite. This can't make the site less valuable!

Now, of course I hope admin elitecodex and MaeLou are both comfortable with this. Like I mentioned, it's not a traffic exchange . It's a traffic (i)networking giveaway(/). And it just might really boost the site.

I have to think about this for a bit. My first impression is that it seems harmless, but there is something nagging at me I can't put my finger on right now. I will get back to you.

I'm not a big fan of being tagged in a post I haven't already read. I feel like I've been tricked into clicking on a post I might not otherwise have cared to read--and I have been tagged in some that I seriously did NOT want to view at that other place.

Feisty56 Please do. Thanks.

OldRoadsOnceTraveled Okay. I see your point. It WOULD have to be organized somehow so folks can opt-out altogether and, never more than twice, grand total.

i'm afraid that it is violating the rules of farming likes and comments although your intention is sharing vs caring. we have to think carefully and check with admins as well.

It's kind of like a game that is played on a social network, but this one sounds great. LoudMan had a great idea, he tagged you in his post and I think that would also work.

I think it is a good idea especially if it will not result into some form of spamming

I realize that your intentions are completely pure, but I don't think it's kosher to tag a bunch of people in a post or a comment--it's farming for views, and it made me furious when it happened at the other place. I'd like to read things I want to, not things I feel like I've been summoned to.

Feisty56 - I know what you mean. It kinda smacks of cheating - even though it isn't. By and large I'm not in favour of it on general principles.

Your brainstorming ideas help to keep new ideas fresh. I know your intent is positive and glad that you feel free to share your ideas with the community. rustedmemory is doing some brainstorming too -- you two might want to get your heads together.

LoudMan his sounds like a very good idea. But what if you started it in alphabetical order. Like if you start it off, you start with the letter a. So the member beginning with a will then go tot he next person with the letter a and so on. Then it will get to B, C and so on. Just an idea to add to yours.

I suspect there might be issues with advertisers, even if users here didn't find the tagging spammy. But I love the concept of making introductions, though :)
