Preparing for Old Age...

When we are raising kids then we are so busy that everything that we do is around the present and future needs of the children. Their clothes, education, , music classes, coaching classes, career, etc.

In this whole game, we tend to forget that as the children grow young we start growing old. When they will be trying to flex their wings and to fly openly in the world, we will be needing them for support. When the time will come, again like true parents we will fall in their line and will let them live their life. In the

In the process we do not plan anything for old age and when the incomes also gets dry then the real problem starts. So the solution is, always save something for the old age. Make your nest egg and do not touch it.

If possible buy a small apartment in an elderly society, that so many good ones are now coming with all the required support system like fooding, medical, emergency treatment etc. This will make sure that when it is time for us to hand our boots, then we have a decent and respectable place to do so.

Let win the game of life, so the of relation remain till the last breadth.

Right. We have to save money for old age. My husband and I have saved money in an insurance company for old age. We don't want to burden our son when become old someday. Though in the Philippines, most parents depend on their children when they become senior citizen. But we don't want to do that to our son.

I think we have saved enough for our old age. We will depend on our children to spend time with us, but financially we will take care of ourselves.

It's never too soon to begin saving money and planning for the road ahead. The ability to do so for many people is the problem when income barely meets the necessities of here and now.

I think kids should help parents when they can't work anymore. In South-Africa our pensioners get about $100 per month to live and survive on. I think that is disgusting and our parents shouldn't have to worry about what is going to happen to them when they are getting older.

The best time to start preparing for old age is when one begins to earn one's first income. Any time after then is actually late
