Scenery in Cade's Cove

We saw some beautiful scenery at Cade's Cove this past weekend. We stopped several times for me to take some shots. This second photo is a panoramic I stitched together. I do that by taking several photos, all just next to each other, and then putting them together in Photoshop Elements 11. I think this one turned out well.

I have it set as my cover pic on Facebook now. It looks good up there.

This next shot was another spot along the route at Cade's Cove. I love the mountains in this shot. The clouds are pretty cool too.

The following shot is of a lone tree. I've seen other photos of it online when looking at photos of the Smoky Mountains. I like how mine turned out.

This final photo is one of my favorites of the day. It came straight out of the camera the muted color it is. I actually like that.

I like all of them, but the center one really caught my attention. It looks almost ethereal to me.

They are all beautiful pictures. My husband and sons and I have been to Cade's Cove twice in the past. It is truly a beautiful place to visit in Tennessee in the Autumn. It was a great place for a picnic.

Wonderful pictures! My favorite is the one of the lone tree. I love the dark clouds in the background and the bright green grass in the foreground.

Nice pictures and they are a sure indication that you had great weather.

Yeah, we plan to take our lunch next time. We have some hiking spots we want to visit.

Yeah, the clouds had changed by the time we got there. It was toward the end of the driving tour.

It was beautiful. 60 degrees and partly cloudy all day.

Wow! Those are some amazing photos! I would love to see that in person.

Isn't it pretty there? Did you see the cantilevered barn? How cool was that? Yet, they call it a cove, but it seems more like open meadows. In my mind I'm equating cove to grove, but I'm not sure that's an accurate equation.

Thank you. It is a truly beautiful place. We just feel better every time we go.

We did see it but there were too many people and no parking places left so I didn't get a photo.

I love them all! I think I like best of all, though.

Those are very lovely pics. it is hard to pick just one but push comes to shove, my favorite is the lone tree.

Those are awesome landscape photos. I love the sky. I wish I had the time to take photos with my dslr. I've been neglecting that lately.

Living there, who would ever need drugs?

Sometimes, a good picture post really hits the spot. Well done!

my most favorite is the second picture... the panoramic photo. i like the mysterious dark mountain ranges shrouded with thick clouds . the tree at the bottom makes me think and question why it does not have leaves. what's up with it ... is it already dead?

AngelSharum wrote on October 25, 2014, 10:39 PM

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed them all.

I made the time for this trip. I've been dealing with a lot of medical stuff, more than usual, and I needed a break.

AngelSharum wrote on October 25, 2014, 10:40 PM

I know. Roy and I would both love to live there.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked the post. I love sharing my photos.

I don't think it's dead but it has dropped all its leaves already.
