Could Pretty Exercise Clothes Motivate You To Exercise More?

I was thrilled when I got a great deal on some clothes the other day when I was shopping. Part of that deal included some exercising clothes. There were three reasons I bought the exercising clothes.

1. They were really a great deal and I love bargains.

2. They were cute and they fit.

3. I was hoping the cute new clothes would inspire me to exercise more and more often.

Yes, I really believe that cute clothes can inspire one to exercise, at least they can inspire a woman. Most women love to wear cute clothes. We also love to wear cute clothes that fit us correctly.

These clothes did just that. They fit me good in all the right places. The colors make me feel perky.

Now I am hoping that they will indeed motivate me and keep motivating me. I need all the help I can get to meet my exercising goals.

New clothes is one way to motivate yourself to work out. I use a motivation chart and every time I exercise, i add points. These translate into money (just a small amount) that I save in a jar to spend on something. One time i had £300 in the jar! That translates to lots of nice new clothes but I spent it on new glasses, which i needed but meant i could afford a better pair!

I hope the clothes make you want to exercise! I can definitely identify with getting new things giving you motivation to get going on a project :)

I am sure wearing nice clothes helps me exercise and do other tasks.

I love this idea. I may add this tool to my exercise routine once I really get started. I can see something like that working for me. Thanks for the tip.

It will take more than a fancy new t-shirt to motivate me to exercise!

I think the people who sell exercise clothes are definitely counting on us to think that! It could be true, though :)

Sometimes they help motivate me but the flip side is I don't want to get the clothes dirty and sweaty and I am particular about what is comfortable to run and work out it. So usually I find something I like and wear it until it's holey. haha
