Taylor Swift, A New Beginning

A lot of people may criticize Taylor Swift for heading to the pop route. I, on the other hand, love that Taylor is experimenting new genres. She is a very talented girl, and I have been a fan of hers for a long time. I am very proud of her new single, Shake It Off.

This song is very uptempo, and I heard that she will have no country songs on her new album. I love her Country songs. I hold them very close to my heart. She is very talented in that genre. Her songs have inspired me and helped me through tough time.

I am very excited for her new album. I will be listening to that album in my car all day.

I think I am mostly excited for a song that is supposedly about Katy Perry. It is called Bad Blood.

She is my role model.

She's not "heading for the pop route." She's ALWAYS been pop. She's just finally getting around to admitting it.

I like the song, too, and the video is very cute. She certainly gets more exposure as a pop artists, but she was always crossover, anyway. I don't think she has to stay in a little box that people want to make for her.

She hasn't always been "Pop," though. Her first album was Country. Her song "Tim McGraw" is Country, and so is "Teardrops on my Guitar" and "Stay Beautiful." She has many more country songs. She started going full pop on her new record, like her song "Blank Space." Now that is POP. :)

If she's country then what on earth have I been listening to for 54 years? And, she said herself that she is now "officially" pop, with the implication in that statement being that she was "unofficially" pop before.
