Facebook; Wherefore Doth I Still Use Thee Whenst Thou Sucketh?
Okay, no, I won't try breaking out in Medieval English and sonnets.
But - I do sometimes wonder why – when we have a site like PersonaPaper – any of us would ever spend as much time on Facebook as many of us do.
Me, for example.
I mean, here Will and Heather are offering to send me money for sharing work/posts/snippets of my life and/or socializing with a mostly-friendly crowd but, so much time is still spent otherwheres for free?
We Humans are a weird, odd, strange, enigmatic species, indeed.
At least I am, anyway. I can't speak for others, of course.
I'm guessing it might be the ease and ability to utilize fakebook with how their notifications work.
It might also be the sheer numbers of our social contacts on Facebook and wanting to stay in-touch.
It might be how FB will suck your head right into your screen and shlupglurpnomnomglurp your brain-cell right outta-your-head-bone.
It could also be a combination of all of these things, too.
This is just my guess but, hopefully just as valid as yours. (Just what is your guess , anyway?)
Eventually, though, Will will develop the code to where the site experience will be smoother.
Eventually, a referral contest will bring more users/activity in.
One day, more home-pages than just mine will be set to the homepage of PersonaPaper to start all 'puter sessions.
Isn't it an awesome thought to know you'll someday be called one of the old hands 'round here?
