Fall is Coming

We don't have a lot of fall color here in my part of north Georgia yet, but we do have some. I scoured my yard the other day for some leaves of different colors just so I could practice my macro photography. I think I got some pretty decent shots. It was fun anyway.

The first photo is my least favorite. That's why I made it the small one. ;) It is a pretty color but I couldn't get the shot exactly how I wanted.

This next shot is one of my favorites.

I love the colors and the texture of the above shot. I was happy with the way the macro lens worked for that one. I love the red color of the next shot a lot.

I like the red with the yellow lines in it and the texture of the above shot. It is a cool leaf. The following shot has lots of different colors, which is very nice. I was happy to have found it in the yard.

The last shot is of several of the leaves I found. I just lined them up in a row to show the differences.

I hope y'all enjoyed the leaf shots. Are things really colorful where you live already?

The last time I went out of town on vacation was in March of 2011, when I went to visit a friend in the Metro Atlanta area. Very nice surroundings, too.

I love the fall right up to the point were I have to start cleaning up all those pretty maple leaves.

I really love the textures on that second photo! It makes me think of reptile scales...

We are about an hour and a half north of Atlanta.

LOL, yeah my husband doesn't like having to get on the roof and clean leaves off either.

Yeah, I've noticed how leaves look like lizards a lot lately.

Those leaves look interesting. Great photography. Our trees are pretty much already bare.

I hope your images are natural and you have not played around with them.

I was told Boston has the best view when it comes to trees changing colour. I missed going there when I was touring the US although I did see some in Canada.

Thank you. I hope we get more color here soon.

I have not changed the color of the leaves at all. They are beautiful as is.

This is the only thing I miss about living in Maryland.. the colors changing. The cold.. I could do without. Though, right now, I could go for some regular 70 degree weather since it is still 90 here!

Are any of those grape leaves? Some of them look like it.

Beautiful colors and photos! We've been seeing changes here for quite a few weeks now, especially as the nights get cooler.

My husband can't wait for jacket weather.

I don't know of any grape plants around here so not sure.
