day 9 of juice plus detox

Well im on day 9 of the juice plus detox now and im starting to feel so much better.

still struggling with headaches now and again and feeling really tired in the mornings but i think that's because im not managing to drink the 3 litres of water that your supposed to on the plan.

usually if i feel ill and drink a bottle of water the symptoms subside.

Well yesterday , day 8, was my first week completed on the detox and i can feel that clothes are fitting me better and the scales say i have lost 6 pounds, yay.

I'm very very chuffed with that because Ive been eating quite a lot of sweet potato and basmati rice.

I have to continue detoxing until next Monday then on Tuesday i need to start on two shakes a day instead of meals, excited about that.

i found this picture on my laptop from just august, i compared it to a picture i took yesterday and i cant believe the difference, seems i was losing weight even before starting on the juice plus plan.

That's great that it's working for you. As you say, headaches can be a problem but you seem to be overcoming then. Please keep us updated with your progress.

Deprivation is an effective tool for short term weight loss results but you pay a price. You loose muscle and fat at the same time. So at the end you wind up weaker. It takes about 5 times the amount of time to replace muscle as it does to lose it.

It's a damned good thing you are young because this kind of thing does not work when you get older.

Good for you. Those before and after photos are impressive.

Congratulations on your successes! Those three liters of water that you are supposed to drink a day are to help flush out the toxins, I'm sure. I think the water is as important to the success of the detox as any other component.
