It's An Almost-October Kind Of Monday!!!
It's an Almost-October Kind Of Monday -- September 29, 2014 to be exact!
Here are how things stand now:
As we all know, something very horrible happened on September 11 back in 2001. Thirteen years later, something very wonderful happened on this date that has been (since 9/11/2001) associated with both the worst (terrorism) and best (coming together and helping each other when the world was crumbling around us). What happened on September 11, 2014 was something very positive I knew would be happening very soon, though I wasn't sure just exactly when. You can read about what happened in 2001 and what happened this year by going here:
I'm still at ManorCare Nursing Home
tying up loose ends and getting ready to move over to Muncie to an apartment for which I signed the lease about a week ago -- and it hasn't been completely smooth sailing (as you will come to find out, "smooth sailing" has some association with one of the flies in the ointment). . .
The way it looks now, I might be living in Muncie for as little as a month (though, likely, between 6 and 8 weeks), but it could be next year before I move into a more permanent place in Anderson. However, I'm hoping to return to Anderson to live in time to decorate for Christmas, if not even in time to decorate for Thanksgiving. Even if I don't, I still have my very own place with my very own key (not to mention things like my very own bathroom, kitchen, closet space, etc.), and I won't be homeless this winter. Though it won't a a permanent location, I even have my own street address and apartment number. After being classed as homeless for a little over a year, this seems pretty wonderful and remarkable to me!!!
Once I get settled in a bit, I'll try to catch you up more -- but, as you can plainly see, things are hectic now and will, to one degree or another, still be a bit hectic for awhile...
I Seriously Need To Be Cloned!!!
