Birds in our garden
Birds in our garden
When it comes to any moving object I take video clips. I have countless video clips of birds that visit my garden. As is known video clips do not have much demand here at Persona.
I had just mentioned in a comment on the article posted by chasmac http://www.personapaper.com/article/12406-macro-photography--butterflies-in-close-up about my inability to post pictures of birds and butterflies and such moving objects as I normally capture them in video slips.
I was pleasantly surprised when chasmac guided me on how to save stills from video clips using the VLC Media Player.
I rushed there and found it be so easy. The pictures that you see here are those stills snapped from my video clips.
Enjoy:
This indeed was a rare opportunity that I could take a video of this royal bird that was strolling ever so gently, in our garden.
This is from a video clip where I have recorded the singing of these birds in unison. The wires look like musical scores/scrolls
I had a nice session with this crow flying from one tree to another singing away to glory!!
These and other tiny birds are often seen to sip away water when the automatic shower is on. Watching their activity made my day.
I had to capture the walk of this Egret - dainty, slow, yet dignified long strides
These birds are mourning the death of our cashew tree that provided them shelter and food. I have a full movie on this tree watching it die.
These are just a few snaps I got from my video clips which are countless in number. I will make another post/posts some other time adding more.

You've captured some interesting snap shots here. I would imagine the video clips from which they came add more context and interest.

Those birds perched on wires really looked as though they were creating musical notes :) The leisurely stroll of the peacock stunned me no end.I could go on and .... Our property has enough to attract birds.

I love the birds on the wire. My father has a peacock and his name is Charlie.

Peacock is our National bird and we cannot keep them as pets.

Sadly we cannot keep peacocks as pets. That video clip of the birds is worth watching and listening to.

That is the beauty of this site AngelSharum where coins play a small role as compared to what we learn here from each other :)
