Bacon Wrapped Corn - Oh Yeah!

Bacon Wrapped Corn

Oh Yea Baby! Wahoo, everything’s better with bacon!

That’s right – bacon wrapped grilled corn was on our menu list for dinner. It’s juicy moist and has that crisp piece of bacon wrapped around the corn. YUM!

I decided to try this because my husband saw a picture of it on one of the social networks and he just had to have it! So glad that we tried it. It’s amazing.

Bacon Wrapped Corn

Ingredients:

5 – Ears of Corn – shucked and all silk removed

5 – Slices of your favorite Bacon

Pepper

Garlic Powder

5 – Pieces of Tinfoil to wrap corn in

Wrap each piece of corn with bacon, sprinkle with pepper and garlic powder and roll each corn in tinfoil. Grill on high for the first 10 minutes turning every 3.5 minutes. Lower heat and cook an additional 8 minutes or until bacon has become crispy. Unwrap and serve!

Oh my! You can feed two food addictions with one dish! I am pinning this one, Tina. Now the only question is going to be where it will fit: veggies or mmmmmmeat?

I see you have some of that delicious checkerboard patterned corn with both yellow and white kernals. Safeway had that on sale at 8 ears for $2 so I tried it for the first time this summer. Yums.

Thanks Ruby3881 - I think it fits in both... 80% vegetable and 20% meat... :)

This corn was from one of our local farmers. Sad that the harvest is all done up here... I could have this all the time.

Feisty56 - Your welcome! I could make more right now! I get hungry just looking at it.

That sounds good. I have never thought about putting bacon around corn on the cob.

Looks delicious, but we aren't supposed to eat either bacon or corn these days, so I won't be making it.
