I used to care, but things have changed.

All in all, 'Life', as we know it, is fickle.

It can lead in all directions at once or perhaps narrow choices to a handful of options. And sometimes it may give no choice at all.

I thought that all was well. I lived as though things were good and all was well. But it seems that they were not. You do not need to know the details.

All you need to know is that - Things have changed. - Bob Dylan wrote a song called that - Things have changed.

"People are crazy and times are strange I'm locked in tight, I'm outta range I used to care, but things have changed."

This is all very well, but you get the drift of this missive. - Something has happened and I am reluctant to talk about it.

I am not even sure I can talk about it.

Relationships are odd. Sometimes opposites attract and on occasion opposites detract. Love is where you find it, love is all around, love is deep, love is ... lost.

Life gives and takes away without regard for individual feeling. A wedding today a funeral tomorrow, life doesn't care. It just is.

This may sound despondant, but it isn't meant to be. Soon, I will be able to write here more often. Or at least that is what I plan. Plans of course can alter.

Give me time.

I hope you heal from this loss soon. I have found writing poetry helps when I feel sad or have unfulfilled yearnings for something or someone I have lost. In fact, that's almost the only time I can write poetry.

It doesn't sound like anything good happened. I hope you feel better soon.

I hope things pan out right for you and life gets better.

Whatever misfortune has befallen you I hope you manage to overcome it soon..

We don't have to know but can only say time is the healer and before you know it you will find your bearings.

I am sorry for whatever you are going through and hope you are able to work through it as you heal. Keep an open mind and heart (not always easy) and remember we are here if you need to chat (through posts or comments). Sometimes it's better to vent or discuss more openly with virtual strangers and/or friends...good luck to you. emoticon

Ever notice how scars look different? It's because the skin is thicker and stronger there. Try re-injuring the same spot, the same way, twice. You seem nice to me and intelligent. Whatever it is you are going through, just make sure you survive to see the other side and the stronger, new you, for having survived it. :)

And remember, you still care. But you have to manage the emotional pain somehow. So, it expresses itself as an "I don't care" sort of disposition. But you do. You really do.

Hey. You got one of SandraLynn 's Less-than-threes! She doesn't give those out like candy, near a playground from the back of a windowless van or anything. :D

BarbRad , AngelSharum , allen0187 , Ellis , bestwriter , SandraLynn - My thanks to you all. You have each provided a salve to a torture.
LoudMan . You are quite right, I Do still care. I used the Dylan lyric as a blade to cut through the torment.
Emotion is the stuff of life, we each deal with it in our own way.
Thanks again to you all.

I want chocolate ice cream for breakfast now. Why do you do these things to me...I'm not sure you wouldn't make me cry in person but I keep coming back. emoticon :straight-face: emoticon

You hang in there and remember that we are here for whatever you need, even if it is to read whatever your fingers spell out from your heart and head emoticon

We've all been through some hard times, emotionally, and we understand. I hope that you can heal from this and grow even stronger, and I hope to see you back here and thriving soon!

I hope that you've found someone you can trust to share your emotional burden with. It sounds like a heavy load to carry all by yourself.
