Who was more embarrassed the Chinese President or the DD News Anchor?
Its all over the Internet about the DD (Indian News Channel) Anchor wrongly pronouncing the name of the Chinese President Xi Jinping. The Anchor pronounced it as Eleven Jinping, surely a terrible mistake. Result? The Anchor was asked to leave - sacked.
Pronouncing name foreign can be quite complicated but it would have done the Anchor good if a search on the Net was made on how to pronounce the name.
There has been no reaction from the President hopefully not as that could be a red mark in the records somewhere.

I think that's hilarious! It's just a pity the anchor lost her job as a result. At least the Chinese president hasn't complained - shows he has a sense of humour maybe?

In this case was something that could have been avoided. Anchors are expected to be ready getting the ropes well.
