Trying to Tie Up Loose Writing Ends

I'm trying to get back in the grove after a couple of days taking it easier and not typing as much. Although I'm still trying to edit one or two hubs a day, I also have some important work to do on my various blogs. One of the most important jobs in that department is correcting a bunch of affiliate links that were wrongly constructed.

Today I went back and reviewed, editing where necessary, all 66 of my posts on one blog going back to 2006. The new ought to be a piece of cake compared to that. While I was editing, I also tried to send a few links this way on things related to the posts I wrote there. I feel really good to be able to check the Blogger blog off my “to do” list.

I hope to finish changing the links on the other blogs tonight before I go to bed. That will leave me free to concentrate on . Although I have been working on the hubs that came from Squidoo, I decided to try to wake some of my sleepers from my original HubPages account, as well. It would be nice to get that Hubber score back to 99 or 100 again.

I also need to write a blog post or two tonight. I'm way behind on those. What have the rest of you, especially those who like me have been MIA, been up to the past couple of days?

Later: Well, that was my list for today, but I didn't finish it. I updated all the links in my Bookworm Buffet Blog this evening, though. Didn't get any new blog posts written. Didn't even have a chance to post this before I had to make an unexpected trip home to deal with something I hadn't anticipated. Sometimes life just happens. It can sure wreck one's plans when it does.

Writing is totally controlled by those so called blocks one encounters from to time about which we can do nothing. Happy writing, now that those blocks have gone elsewhere to disturb other writers emoticon

Typo - I have missed out a couple of words here and there in the message below. Hope you will know where . :)

You know, while spelling mistakes jump out at me, I had to go back and read your post again to find the typo! I am a fast reader and completely skipped the missing time!

You got a good lot of stuff done there. Celebrate 66 blogs corrected - WOW!

Good you did not find the missing words. emoticon

I've been mainly good apart from forgetting to use the tag!

Me too! :(

You are a super achiever in my book!

They didn't all need the corrections, but I had to check each one to be sure.

BarbRad wrote on September 18, 2014, 3:54 PM

You have adequately repented.

Not really. Was going to write today, but have to go home to process a couple of orders I badly needed.

Right now I am procrastinating getting back to the mountain of housecleaning I have to do before a looming deadline. I've got a million things to do offline in the next two weeks, and that's cutting into my writing big time.

I was wondering what you were up to. Are you doing okay under the circumstances?

Been doing some errands. Managed to make two posts yesterday while in transit.

Right now, just looking at his horrible the weather is in and around Manila and the flooding that has happened in various areas.

I might stick to reading posts and leaving

... comments. I'm not really in the mood to write new posts.

Well you know if one day life didn't happen that would be way worse, I think. I have been tailoring my new 'puter to my needs and making its acquaintance along the way. Sure is nifty, but there is a lot of stuff to organize. I especially like the new Paintshop Pro X7 that I have installed. It is generations newer than the old one I have been using.

I'm not much in the mood to write new posts, either, when I have been doing a lot of editing.

I'm OK I think. I'll know after October 6 what's going on. Meanwhile, my panic has subsided. The ER doctor was very reassuring. Knowledge is power. It's not knowing that gets to one.

Housekeeping chores sure can take up a lot of time when a site makes a major change! I hope you get all your links updated soon :)
