I Finally Got the Confirmation of my July 12 Bubblews Payment

Well, I can breathe a little easier at least. finally sent me the confirmation email that payment is on the way for my July 12, 2014 . That makes my future there a little less uncertain.

I feel a little better about posting there now, but I'm not going back to a full schedule until I hear from my August 4 redemption. If things keep going as is, I'm going to try to do about three posts a week until I get that payment. Then we'll see what happens with the one after that.

I miss posting there regularly more than I thought I would. Having a breather is nice, though, because I've been struggling to come up with ideas. I don't want to just post fluff, but I'm not going to hand over any Pulitzer worthy material. Not being able to do photo posts is a big drain on my creativity.

I want my old Bubblews back, glitches and all. It used to be so much more fun.

That's better than being ignored, it seems you have won the BIG PRIZE! An almost 60-day limbo plus you now have to wait out the payment period.

I know it's a relief to find out the payment is coming. Waiting 30 days is tough enough, but one day or more longer seems intolerable, especially in the absence of any direct communication from management.

28 more after the first 30 is frustrating.

Yay, me. And as a bonus, I get to find out whether or not I get PayPal fees deducted. Double yay.

I'm very glad they paid you, but not glad it took them so long. I'm supposed to get paid tomorrow for my last redemption in August. At least I know now that if they are late, I can still hope.

Still no word on my August 4 redemption.

I've received every redemption there so far, so I'm not posting any differently than I normally do. sometimes I post a lot in a days time, and other weeks barely at all. For me it's more to do with what I have going on than ideas for posts. for example right now I just finished having some waffles for lunch and now I feel like a nap is in order. But, if I take the nap, then I won't get much done here or over there since I need to begin working on payroll for tomorrow and I need to make a trip to the bank to deposit some funds and I need to go to my mom's tonight for some card playing, a weekly event. Plus I'm making supper tonight. Albeit something simple, but still, it won't make itself.

What happened?! I guess they sent it first to another Debbie!

I've never had any trouble with redemptions before now other than them being a few days late. This is the first time I've ever had to email them. Knowing that it wasn't just me did make me feel better about wondering whether or not they would pay me, but knowing there was such a huge mess did make me worry about the future. I hope they work through it. I do want to keep writing there. I need the money.

Unless things change for the better, I'll never be able to do the kinds of things I did before because most of my writing was photo oriented and it is not a photo-friendly site anymore. After having so much of my archives so badly messed up, I have trust issues with them now as far as content goes (aside from payment issues). They aren't going to get my best work, but that doesn't mean I don't still want to do a lot of social blogging, simple reviews, Guiness the Cat posts, and light evergreen stuff there. As far as frequency goes, my traffic tends to take a nose-dive if I skip more than 2-3 days without posting.

I am liking the new site, despite initially missing things like the multiple images layout. And they are working hard on getting things straightened out! Hopefully it will get even better :)

I just got my email for my August 12 redemption, so I will go redeem again today. Maybe the trick is to stop posting a few days before the notification is to arrive.

I have no idea if they sent me my July 5 redemption or not. They owed me July 5, July 20 and August 6. I've received two, one on August 19 and the other one is pending in echeck. So, do they still owe me July 5 or is the August 6 payment late? I have no idea. But, at least I'm being paid.

I do hope things turn around. I wish they would fix the things that are wrong before they start going off in different directions changing and adding. I like the business plan of Persona Papers. First things first, then expand.

OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on September 13, 2014, 12:44 AM

You didn't keep of record of how much each redemption was for? I always write it in my log and take a screen shot.

chatombreux wrote on September 13, 2014, 1:57 PM

Not until this fiasco happened, I didn't. Never had issue before. But, this last redemption - yes. Screenshot and date of redemption saved.

I liked Bubblews a lot more before they changed the whole look of it, it seems like they changed a lot about the system as well. My earnings have gotten a LOT slower since then :/

Mine are usually less, too. I like some of the cosmetic things and some of the conveniences, but if I had my way, I'd trade them all for all the old glitches if they would go back to the old Bubblews where pictures looked good, people didn't get decapitated, and you could do multiple photo posts with associated text.
