Your Last Meal... What Would It Be?

Your last meal... what would it be?

Another cut and dry discussion here. The reason why it would be your last meal might differ.

It might be the apocalypse and you know the end is upon you.

The world is being overrun by zombies and you are helplessly trapped the last fully functioning five-star restaurant. (This is my post and what I say goes. Don't ask why there is still a fully functioning five-star restaurant complete with chefs and a full stock kitchen during a zombie apocalypse. There just is! LOL!)

You are on death row and this is your obligatory last meal. Your choice of food and drinks. (Although, honestly, I cannot grasp the idea behind this customary practice. Someone care to explain its history?)

Feel free to chime in folks!

That's one way to look at it paperdaisyflower7 ... eat a full meal for the benefit of the zombies! LOL!

Stouffer's French Bread Pizza, Cottage Cheese, Olives, and Diet Pepsi. Unlimited amount, not feeling full for at least 3 hours. Then whatever. Ready to take on the Zombies.

I don't know. This is the one question I rarely answer. I'm a food addict and it's a tough one...

Last meal? Hmmm...nothing too fattening I wouldn't want to ruin my diet

When I went away to university, over 40 years ago, I asked my grandmother to prepare me a last meal - it was liver and onions, with cabbage!

I would go for a good chilli.
A favourite for many a year and no sign of diminishing.
But then there is a thick-cut bread to make a bacon sandwich.
..That simple bowl of cornflakes with cool milk and perhaps a tiny sprinkiling of sugar,
...What about a pork chop? With roasted potatos and cabbage or French beans, served with butter. Add fresh peas to the plate for a delight...
.... and then there is chocolate.. ?

A unique thought put into words. Brilliant idea allen0187

I'll take the best cut of salmon that a five-star restaurant could offer. Maybe a few scallops to round it out. A side dish of steamed vegetables. A really good Chardonnay. Raspberry white chocolate ice cream for dessert. After that, I think I'll be ready to take on the zombies.

allen0187 Well, a 5 star restaurant. Hmm, lets see, I guess a little bit of everything on the menu. That sounds good to me.
