A flower from someone

When a person give something to someone, it definitely mean something. It really depends on the purpose of giving something to a person. The thing you could give to a person is somehow related to what you really wanted to express, to show and to express. Like if you are going to give a person a cake, it would mean that by that sweetness, that person you offered the thing also meant for sweetness. If you give a flower, then it means how dear is that person to you. There are lot of things that could be expressed by giving someone a flower. They say that giving a flower to someone you care symbolizes the love and fondness you are feeling towards him or her. It really means so much to the person who give and the person who receive. But really, personally, I was never given by someone a flower... I wanted to receive a flower by someone special, someday...

Receiving a flower (or a bunch even) is a lovely gesture I think. Would a plant be seen as being as nice I wonder? A plant will go on living whereas a flower will soon die.

No flowers, huh? That's a bummer. Everybody should get flowers once. I think I've even been given flowers once before.

When I was in high school for Valentines day, students would buy flowers for each other. A red rose meant love, a pink rose meant friendship and a white rose meant a secret admirer. I remember one year getting a white rose from a secret admirer. I remember trying to find out who it was who sent it. But I never found out who sent it. I still , to this day, wonder who sent it.
