Holiday Spending - More, Less, or Same

Putting this post under 'holidays' just because I can. LOL!

It is already September and with that the longest Christmas season has started here in the Philippines. With that in mind, it got me thinking, I want to know what everyone's plan is about shopping for gifts this season. Do you plan to spend more, less, or the same amount on the holidays this year? I think I'm going to cut back on spending this year and basically shorten my list. Instead of giving individual gifts, I'm going to give gifts to each family. Not thinking along the lines of giving out fruitcakes but more on the lines of cooking a pasta dish or preparing tiramisu and giving one of each to each family.

Did that make sense? I figured by doing that, I can save more and come up with a personalized gift for each family this season.

So your holiday spending, would it be more, less, or about the same compared to last year?

Love to hear everyone's thoughts! cheers!!!

I don't spend much on holidays. Greeting cards and few gifts, beside a special dinner on the table doesn't really cost much.
