I Don't See Any Response From Arvind At Bubblews

Okay, so it seems my payments at Bubblews have been “lost” again. I'm due two redemptions now, with the first due days ago and the previous was short by a couple bucks or so.

Emailing them is nearly pointless. I suppose they send us out a telepathic response and we pick it up? Because I never/seldom ever see a response to my questions of Arvind via email even, these days.

Usually, my payments have been okay. This will be the first in a long while of having another payment issue with Bubblews. This makes me a bit sad to even be saying.

It's going to suck for the team of ten to work building up all sorts of visibility just to steamroll themselves with a bad payment reputation.

I've written more than ten emails about my June 30 missing payment. I've sent the email at different times and to at least two different addresses.

Guess what? No reply!

I've been one of the lucky ones who has always been paid by bubblews. Of course it takes me so many months to make a cash out there. Sometimes I wonder if the people having so many cash out problems are the ones who are cashing out too often or for too large of an amount.

I just requested payment from them today, according to the site I should expect my payment around 4th of October so now I just have to wait and see if I actually get it.

Shadi wrote on September 4, 2014, 2:46 PM

I never bothered to email them. Only once when I wrote a suggestion to send automatic updates for payments delay/cancellation. I don't think my suggestion was read, let alone taken seriously. I deleted all my Bubblews posts and personal info.

I'm sorry to hear this. I just received my eCheck in my Paypal today and have never had any issues. I hope you get a response and some resolution soon! : (

I have two late payments now. I've always been paid, although it's almost always been late for months now. It's never been late enough to send an email, but I've sent four about my July 12 and only received two automated replies. I'll have enough to redeem tonight or tomorrow, but I'm rapidly losing confidence. I expect to get paid (eventually), but I don't know how much longer I'm going to keep expecting if things don't turn around soon.

Luckily, Bubblews doesn't owe me a single penny....lol

LoudMan I feel as you do right now. I never had a problem with any of my redemptions there. Until my last one that I redeemed in July. I was supposed to see payment by August 28th. Well, it is now September 4th. nothing. I did email them twice and even gave them the screen shots. No response as of yet. It would be a shame for them to get a bad reputation based on a bad payment system. That makes people think twice before joining. If they are real serious about changing the game with writing social sites, then they have to step up to the plate and prove that they do pay and promptly. I belong to ChatAbout and when I redeem there, I get paid the very next day. And I am also with a site called Share Magnet, where you share and earn. When I reach my payout amount, which is only one dollar, I redeem and get paid instantly. No waiting. So far I haven't reached payout here yet. But one day I will. I still scour the internet for other writing sites to earn from. So far nothing is catching my attention. I invested lots of time, energy and words there on Bubblews. I still believe in the site, I still feel they will get better. But this is not a good feeling. Also, Teckler is closing its doors come September 20th. So, it seems there is another rash of sites closing down. I hope Bubblews isn't one of them. And I hope Persona Paper sticks around as well. Not many sites like this that I feel comfortable with.

I've already given up on my June 30th payment or any other payments from Bubblews. Since, I had already deleted all my articles, I don't think they would ever even look at my account anymore. I guess what I had earned in Bubblews that was unpaid will go to those who had been patient waiting for their payment.

UmiNoor wrote on September 4, 2014, 10:49 PM

Speaking of Teckler, I received an email from them this morning about them closing down by Sept 20th and them asking members to transfer payment to Paypal. But when I went to the website, I can't even log in. What's happening to Teckler? Can you log into your Teckler account?

inertia4 It sucks, doesn't it?

Ellis you haven't found your account there, yet?

OldRoadsOnceTraveled It doesn't make sense, does it?

Bethany1202 He you! Followed! What are you doing?

Shadi good move, I guess.

Melody23 They likely will.

nonersays Good for you, really.

UmiNoor I feel for you. At least they haven't tried billing you yet, though, right?

allen0187 Gawd will they ever catch you up?

LoudMan wrote on September 5, 2014, 12:38 AM

Another glitch?

Bensen32 wrote on September 5, 2014, 12:15 PM

I have been lucky for the most part as they have paid me 27 out of 27 redemptions well out of 28 I just hit the button a week ago so that one is still pending. of those 27 only the last 2 were late. the first one was 10 days late from the early July issue and then the last one was 2 days late. So I guess I cant complain to much, yet.
Hey good luck hope you get paid soon.

BarbRad wrote on September 5, 2014, 12:21 PM

I got the first of one of my recent payments due, but wouldn't you know it? The next one is due, of all days, 9/11. That can't be good.

BarbRad wrote on September 5, 2014, 12:22 PM

It may be a few days late, especially if the payment date is on a weekend. My last one was, but it did finally come.

BarbRad wrote on September 5, 2014, 12:24 PM

What? You expect miracles? That's what an answer from Arvind would be, I think.

Shadi wrote on September 5, 2014, 4:16 PM

I logged into my Teckler account few hours ago and backed up all my content. Try recovering your password maybe?

inertia4 wrote on September 5, 2014, 9:12 PM

LoudMan Yes it does. I am holding on by a thread there. Well my patients are. I still believe in them and still hope they get their act together with all the back payments. Uncertainty is not a good thing.

LoudMan wrote on September 5, 2014, 10:15 PM

AdrienneJenkins I'm wondering what you think, since you seem to get clear responses. Can/Will you help me, pretty please?

FourWalls wrote on September 6, 2014, 1:00 AM

You have to consider that they probably worked quite hard to get a good reputation, one that they have systematically destroyed in about a month's time. It seems to me (anyone else who wants to chime in on this can give a "yea" or "nay" to this opinion) that they had two things happen almost simultaneously: their appearance on national TV and the site update from the "old Bubblews" to the current site. Since those two things happened that site hasn't been worth a hoo-hah. They do NOT remove plagiarism, they do NOT care about the spam, and worse, they let those people run unabated on the site, to the detriment of the site. (I commented on someone's article at another site about how the way the management was acting was driving the good writers away, and they replied, "I haven't seen any good writers there." My reply: "that's because they've been driven away by the spammers and plagiarizers.")

I wrote an article earlier this week where I stated I don't think that site will exist in a year, and I will reiterate that opinion here. Between the spammers, the plagiarizers and the payment issues they will either be shut down by the California state attorney general or the FBI over "scam" complaints, a magazine or newspaper that has been plagiarized will file a cease and desist order on the site, or the owners will simply take the money and run, shutting the site down themselves.

SLGarcia wrote on September 6, 2014, 9:47 AM

I doubt it. I never received my very first redemption there and it took me four months to get to the first one.

SLGarcia wrote on September 6, 2014, 9:50 AM

I think you could be right. I've report a number of plagiarizers, complete with links to copied articles, and the plagiarizers are still there.

Gems wrote on September 6, 2014, 10:22 AM

I got most of my payments so I have no problems with the site.
