Back to Santa Barbara to Close the Deal

Just a quick one, since I have to leave in a few minutes. We need to go back to Santa Barbara today to sign the final papers on the sale of our building in Ventura. I am still not confident it's a done deal, and I won't be until we actually have the money in the bank. I'm hoping, though, so that things can settle down around here.

I'm actually looking forward to the trip today. I hope the business part is short and sweet so that we will have some time to enjoy ourselves and I can take some photos along the way and collect more writing material. I have to remember to pack some walking shoes. My attitude toward this trip is much more exuberant than it was toward the trip to San Luis Obispo yesterday to go to traffic school . I expect to enjoy the view of the coast to and from since it's a beautiful day and should not be overcast. Hope to have a good report when I return.

Its sounds like this could be a great day for you. Taking the time to snap photos is always fun and you'll never know what you will find. Best of luck with your property, it will be nice to have it all done and over with, and the money in the bank!

Mind how you drive - don't want another visit to traffic school! :)

So we will soon have one more rich lady here. Good to interact with those who have no money problem. And your trip will surely need a couple of pair of shoes or more :)

I hope this transaction goes through just as you and hubby want it to. That will be one big issue settled.

We signed a lot of papers, but I don't count is as done and over until we clear escrow and have the money.

It's not closed. It is scheduled to close at the end of next month. These things never seem to move on schedule.

Hubby was as good as gold, since I helpfully reminded him to signal, slow down, etc. We passed lot of folks who probably will be going, though, since they were giving their autographs to the CHP.

No rich lady here. There's a mortgage and other debt to pay off, and Uncle Sam will be claiming his share of any profit.

I took 244 pictures. I'll be sharing them soon, maybe starting later tonight.

I will be eager to congratulate you when this deal is finally concluded. You have worked hard and waited a long time.

I am sure there will be enough balance left. I hope and wish you reach there

244? Is that all? Are you slacking off? You can do better than that.

I had less than an hour and Hubby along and in a hurry. Did the best I could, LOL.

Still more forms, courtesy of the EPA and a few other agencies that interject themselves into real estate deals now.
