I feel for the family that has to endure this kind of of pain. Crime of passion, no such thing! If you don't want in the relationship then get out! I admire my husband and the promise that we have made to each other and consider it my life. If either of us wanted to be with someone else (which is not a question for us), then we would leave each other. Crime of passion, pft.. this was just plain out murder.

I have never understood how such a beginning would ever be a foundation for any relationship where trust is necessary. Nor why people would rather kill than divorce. I guess sometimes they think they will get insurance money and that is part of the motive -- which makes it premeditated -- not a passion killing.

I hear "crime of passion", and I think of something that someone would never imagine themselves doing, until they've actually done it. If I can see myself doing it, wouldn't that be on the low end of the scale of premeditation?

That is awful. I would never allow myself to be in a situation like that.

Agree with you Daisy. Been reading more into this and it appears, the illicit affair has been going on for quite sometime already.
