Is It Okay to Write Affiliate Marketing Tutorials Here?

I had started a series on Bubblews and now I find out that it probably isn't allowed there. People have been finding it helpful and I would just as soon bring it here. It explains how I built my affiliate marketing business up over 15 years. I wrote a post that provided a step by step account of how I built my last Halloween affiliate site. It also shows how I coped with the infamous 2003 Google update known as Florida.

Another post covers how newbies without a website can find merchants to work with. I do mention specific affiliate networks

I don't have an e-book or website that I'm pushing. I would just let the views and coins be the revenue generated from this series. The information is specific to my experience and I provide more than general info, so hopefully Google won't consider it spam or a rehash of what's already been written.

It's okay if you say no. If you say it's okay, I'll delete them tonight and wait for Google to forget about them.

elitecodex is the person you should be asking. There may be something in the rules about this - perhaps you should check up on that.

I agree with Kasman . Whenever we are in doubt, we should ask elitecodex by email to get the official word. Since he's just been mentioned twice I'm sure he'll be here to comment soon.

Based on what you say here, I see no problems with it. Just so long as the posts themselves do not include affiliate links but direct links then that is perfectly fine.

You also do not need to wait for Google to de-index them. If they show up in Google but clicking on the link takes you to a 404, then it doesn't exist and is acceptable. It may take Google some time to figure that out but it should not hurt us during that process.
