Why Do People Try Take Advantage Of Others

I have had several emails sent to me with regards to making money online.

Everything from "get paid to shorten links" to "Get paid to click"

Now I have gone to these websites, as the emails state that they are not scams, I click on them and check them out and there is no way to make money like these people are claiming.

Now I have worked it out and the Paid to clicks are just crazy, they give you 20 ads to click per day, of which you earn 0.0001 cent, So over a month you will earn 0.0030 cents, For a month, for clicking adverts that you have to stay on the page for a minute at a time, which is a waste of time.

So how do these people do it? Referrals that's how, they give you their referral link, which earns them $0.050 per referral.

They then send their referral out to hundreds of people who are trying to make some cash, and these people click on the site, and then the people who sent you the referral get the cash, while the people who try make money don't get anywhere.

So as far as I am concerned these PTC websites are not worth it, and if i get another email from a paid to click website I will scream, as they all make promises that they cannot keep. And the people who get my email address by stealing or buying it from someone else, I will list their email addresses online as scam artists.

They prey on the weak to make other people money, its a load of nonsense.

Anyways that's the end of my rant.

I used to get literally hundreds of these emails a week, in the end I changed my email address and I haven't had one since. My old email was clearly on a list somewhere

It is sad isn't it. Scam artists need to be defeated. If there was just some way for them all to be brought down!

If you don't want to get any more emails, stop responding to the emails. They are aware that you clicked the link to look at the site, and they are selling your email address to similar companies.

I was wondering how these worked. Glad you figure out it's just a big pyramid referral scam.

Hmm I have been doing PTC on the side and I have been paid by a couple of them. I am actually planning to cash out on 4 or 5 later small but better than nothing. I do them when I have nothing to write or while watching TV. So far 4 that has paid me I will cash out again.

Fortunately melody23 I've never gotten any of these, not in my inbox proper at least. I did get a comment here and there from people on my blogs who claimed you could make money by blogging about a blog network where you made money by getting other people to buy into the blog network. That was pretty ludicrous and I wrote a post at the time about it how disgusted I was that people would even do that. It's sadly not live any more. I might repost it on one of my websites at some point.

Its one of the reasons I love gmail so much because all the junk goes in the promotions box, the spam box or the social box, leaving my inbox for actual mail

Chantiele Well, in a nut shell, why people take advantage of others is for selfish reasons. They are the ones that are insecure. I have an evil ex that took advantage of me once, now she is paying the piper with the new husband she has. LOL. Nice!!!

lol an evil ex. Well sometimes ex's have to learn the hard way :)

Chantiele wrote on August 29, 2014, 8:56 AM

I dont mind the small amounts but seriously it takes months to earn a few dollars

Chantiele wrote on August 29, 2014, 8:57 AM

Yip a big pyramid referral scam

Chantiele wrote on August 29, 2014, 8:59 AM

I dont even open half of the emails. I see it then delete it without opening and they still send more

Most of it goes to spam box, but not all of it, I started marking it as spam and then decided enough is enough

Sounds like a worthy rant to me. Likewise the sites that say they will pay you for taking surveys and disqualify you at the very end after they have gotten most of the answers out of you. I will stick to writing.

I have gotten those type of make money online e-mails and I agree they are all a scam and not worth my precious time.
