A Teen Age Boy Shoots Himself While Posing For A Selfie

Now here is a story. A 15 yr old boy accidentally shot himself while posing for a selfie with a gun, He held the gun in one hand pointing under his chin and the phone on the other hand, so I guess while posing and smiling instead of clicking the phone he pulled the trigger . Maybe he was using his hand that usually holds the phone or camera to take a picture and instinct made him pull the trigger instead. The gun is owned by his uncle. He was admitted to the ICU but has been released.
This happened a month ago because after he was discharged a month after the incident, his family brought him back for check up because he was acting strange , talking to himself and complained of headaches . He is now back to the ICU but the parents are asking help for their bills. They are not well off and they have a very big bill to pay. His mother went back as an overseas Filipino worker in Oman, Jordan in the Middle East. But their bill is over 200,000.00 pesos or approximately $5,000.00.
Moral of the story, guns and phones do not go together LOL

So silly, but teenagers do not think of the consequences.

If he had to have the gun in his picture, why did he have it loaded? He could have unloaded it before the selfie!!

That is just sad. Guns are not made for playing or for showing off. There must be stricter rules about weapons.

parents said he did not know it was loaded and took it without asking permission just for picture purpose :(

I bet everyone's trying to blame the gun, huh?

actually they didn't blame anyone they said it was an accident but the uncle blamed himself for not keeping the gun safe
