Loom Bands with Charms

Have you heard about Rainbow Loom Bands? Well, loom bands are latex-free bands with different colors available. These little bands are being connected with each other to make a band or a bracelet. These Loom Bands are such a hit with children and with adults too.

I like the Rainbow Loom Bands because it teaches children to be active, and creative outside the technology world. I mean nowadays, kids as young as two years old can now use iPad or tablets or even smartphones. I don't mind if their young minds can already comprehend these gadgets but I still want them to be active in real life not with video games.

My friend is currently selling loom bands but with charms. Yup, she added charms on it to make it more classy for the adults.

I adore those charms. My favorites are: snowflakes, peace sign, cat, and the dog.

There are concerns in the UK at present about loom band charms that are made from plastic that is highly carcinogenic (cancer causing). These are imported from China and are sold cheaply on market stalls, etc. Parents need to be on their guard to make sure that young children do not get hold of them.

Thanks for the info. That's also the reason why we don't buy the cheap ones.
