Have You Ever Postponed...

... your plans to do another thing that came up?
So have you?
Plus is it easy for you to do so or do you find yourself on the fence about it? I'm the type of person who always wants to stick to a schedule or itinerary. I usually have my plans for the day set up a couple of days in advance. Yesterday, I was planning to meet up with a friend to talk about a potential business and then meet up with a buyer for one of the jerseys I have in my online store. I also planned on hitting the gym to go boxing and circuit training in the evening.
Of course, the afternoon meeting with my friend took forever to start and by the time it got going and well into the interesting parts, I started to lose track of time. I missed the meeting with my buyer and I missed going to the gym. I ended up postponing these two. I kinda felt bad for my buyer but she understood. Good for me. As for working out, I'll make up for it over Thursday and Friday.
How about you my friends, do you find yourself changing plans to make the most out of what life is giving you? Do you find it easy to adjust your plans or do you stick to it no matter what? Feel free to chime in my fellow PPers.

I don't usually make plans. With my health, I do things on the spur of the moment more often than not. I do TRY to make plans sometimes, but we all know they may fall through.

The only things I postpone are boring chores. When they go out of hand then I tackle them emoticon

Yes but not all the time. Usually, dinner plans with friends during weekdays.

I confess. I'm very flexible when something I really want to do comes up. I would be willing to postpone some tasks almost forever. But when an appointment is crucially important, like the one with our realtor Thursday to hear some offers to buy our Ventura building, I won't be the one to postpone it, even if I don't feel like making the trip.

I like to stick to my TA-Do list for sure. But I've learned that it's good to be flexible, too. Not always easy, what with my Type A fighting all the other personalities ;) We do okay ;)

I'm a planner, to be sure, not a whichever-way-the-wind-blows type, but I do have to reschedule stuff--I just try to give plenty of notice 'coz that's how I roll.

I am a substitute teacher. I wake up and start my day then drop everything if I'm called to work. I am also a mystery shopper. I can plan that out how I want, but sometimes I get a phone call that they need a shop done and offer me enough that it's worth it, so, new plan. But not if it means cancelling on people it would be hard to reschedule with.

I try to stick to my plans, because if I postpone then, then I have it hanging over my head to do later.

I try not to postpone unless I am ill.
