Too many articles about other sites like Bubblews

What is very annoying and everywhere in so many articles? Articles about other writing sites like Bubblews!

I can't stand reading one more post about complaints against other writing sites or praises for other websites. I understand the occasional rant or observation about another site you use but having so many articles on this topic is very irritating and annoying. Yes, I see the irony, I am now writing about those other sites. However, I just want to put it out there that I think many people are also fed up with your complaining and don't want to hear about it anymore.

A site like Persona Paper should be used to write and express one's creative genius or share experiences and knowledge. Complaining and dedicating entire articles to 'how good' or 'how bad' other sites are is irrelevant. Don't like a particular site? Don't use it!

I have to iron my shirts. Have you seen my irony?

I agree. Just writing about other sites shows a lack of creativity.

I understand why people need to vent, but sometimes you are right, there are too many articles basically saying the same thing, a person can write one or two... then they need to drop it and move on. Be professional and first take it up with the site in question before you go off ranting against them.

I guess I'm guilty, since I wrote two on bubble ooze issues and one asking for information about a couple of other sites. I think we do this because we know others here have encountered the same frustrations or because we are looking for information that we didn't find on the sites involved. There's a lot of times we are trying to determine if we are the only one something has happened to or if some new "unofficial rule" has been introduced and we hadn't heard about it yet. I try not to just gripe here about other sites, though. As as has been mentioned, no one has to read posts on topics that don't interest them.

Well I never site don't write about it. I think there are forums for that kind of stuff, where people who care about it read that stuff. But it's sad to see the most popular posts on a writing site to be about ANOTHER writing site! Isn't it weird?

Wow haha my autocorrect went nuts. I meant "said"

tzwrites wrote on August 9, 2014, 4:46 PM

I don't understand why the most popular posts on this site are about OTHER sites.

I understand what you mean and I don't think that's wrong. I am just surprised about the amount of posts about Bubblews and I don't get why so many of the posts in the popular section are about that site too.

I didn't ban anyone from writing about Bubblews but I would if I could, so that there would be more exciting stuff to read.

It just shows that if you want to be in the popular column, you need to write about the popular topic. And it seems that Bubblews is a popular topic here. Can't help it. That's just how it is. You don't want to be in the popular column, don't write about Bubblews but if you want to be in that column, you know what to do.

UmiNoor wrote on August 9, 2014, 10:44 PM

You have to realize why this site was created in the first place. One of the owners is still writing for Bubblews and the other, I think has bad experience with that website. Obviously, the people they're going to attract are those coming from Bubblews and that's the common thread that are binding us all.

UmiNoor wrote on August 9, 2014, 10:51 PM

What's wrong with writing about a popular topic? That's how you get views to your posts. You are paid for the views that you get and if you want to get the views, write what is popular and right now, what is popular is topics about Bubblews.

Ruby3881 wrote on August 10, 2014, 4:50 AM

I honestly can't say I feel inundated with posts on any one particular topic here. But if a topic isn't of interest to you, then move on. It's pretty simple to just not read those posts.

The popular articles now on the Persona Paper front page are mostly from Bubblews malcontents. It does give Persona Paper a very angry and outsider vibe. You would hope the people here would be here because they love it and not hate another site.

I am sick of reading those posts. I will never post one of them. And why or why did I stop to read this one. LOL

paigea wrote on August 10, 2014, 2:23 PM

Well, I won't be in that popular column. I am not going to write a post about that topic.

UmiNoor wrote on August 10, 2014, 9:13 PM

That is your personal choice. Nobody is going to force you to do want you don't want to do. If you don't want the page views and the earnings, that is absolutely your choice.

I am okey with this topic. In fact i myself will read the article with this topic because i wish to know what happen to others bubblers. I think this is normal for people to make comparison.

The thing is, more than likely each of these articles has a different author and each one of them has the right to get it out of their system on their own. While I can understand you are sick of seeing it I can also understand they need to get it out of their system one at a time.
