Do You Like Posts?
So, I admit I probably haven't been posting here as much here as I should or interacting with connections much. I apologize. I've been pretty busy lately.
When I logged in today though, I noticed something...While people are viewing and sometimes commenting, there are very few likes on people's posts.
I think this is because that people only get coins now for commenting or for page views.
Still, it is a little disheartening to see that your post has maybe only one or two likes? I think even though people will not know it was you who liked their post, it is still important to like posts sometimes, especially if it was informative or something you enjoyed reading.
So, come on folks, lets don't be stingy with the likes! We may be giving others an inferiority complex! LOL! Just my two cents... ;)

yeah I think since likes are not paid most of the people stopped liking. But I still do it for the posts which i like

I still do the likes. If someone took the time to write it they deserve a little joy even if it is non-revenue.

Akshar Thanks for you comment. I agree. I think we should like people know we like their post! Oh, and since I can't like your comment, I am letting you know I "like" your comment! LOL! ;)

Scorpie Thanks for your comment! Yes, what is one millisecond of your time to give someone a little joy? ;)

I still click the like button. When I have nothing to add to the discussion, this is my way of showing my appreciation to the member who made the post.

I think that people here don't like as much because it is a system that is abused in another site called bubble. Likes don't encourage participation as actual commenting.

I still use the like button sometimes, especially if I did like the post but have no comment.

No comment? Geez I always have something to say. Perhaps I have diarrhea of the keyboard.
1AngelSharum wrote on August 8, 2014, 11:16 PM
LOL, well I'm sure I could come up with something but sometimes I don't really have anything of value to add so I just use the like button.

vserrao1 I don't think it can be abused that way here since you don't know who it was that liked your post. I just think it is nice to like a post if you actually like it and what harm can it really do? After all, everything isn't always about the money.

I tend to forget, I've noticed. It's in a weird spot. I do notice that if someone responds to a comment and I come back to read it, that I'll like the post then. Does that count? ;) AND, since I've noticed my forgetfulness, I've tried to be better. BUT, you are right, it's been less likes across the board.

I remembered to like this one. YAY :)

I concentrate more on comments than 'likes' I have not 'liked' for quite a while now.

I do like them when I remember. The things is that even when I personally like them, i tend to forget to click the like button. Oops!

I usually forget to leave a Like if I have already commented. I do that on Bubbs, too! I remember sometimes.

I like every post I read. It is a note to myself that I read it already. :D

Even though there are not coins for "likes".. I still hit that like button! I agree with Scorpie , if someone took the time and you read it, then take a few extras seconds and hit that like button.
