I'd be surprised if someone actually declines. I mean, who can say no to two 1/3 pound beef patties grilled to perfection. I used lean meat for my patty. I used just the right amount of fat with my ground beef.
If course, you can't have just the burger patty. You got to have the right toppings and condiments for your burger. Just right having the right supporting acts for your superstar main performer. For this burger, I had caramelized onions, mushrooms, and freshly chopped red and green bell peppers. For my sauce, I chopped lots of garlic and mixed it with some mayonnaise for a simple garlic mayo sauce. I also had some chopped jalapeño pepper mixed with mustard and hot sauce for some spicy mustard kick. I toasted the bun a bit and spread these delightful sauces on each. The double patties take their rightful place and then topped by the onions, mushrooms, and bell pepper. Some french fries in the side and a cold glass of soda to wash down the first bite and a bottle or two of beer to accompany my burger creation for the rest of thus gastronomic adventure.
Let me ask again, burger , anyone?
